He was a member of the New Woodstock Federated Church. He was a former member of several bowling leagues in Cazenovia. Polin, Samuel October 21, 2004 Samuel Polin, of Syracuse, 98, died Thursday at the Jewish Home at Menorah Park. A life-resident of Syracuse, he worked for R.E. Dietz Co. as a foreman in the assembly department for 47 years until he retired in 1972. Mr. Polin was a member of Young Israel-Shaarei Torah, the Old Boys Association, he was a veteran of WWII and served in the Army Air Force, and was a member of Onondaga Post 131 Jewish War Veterans. Survived by his wife, Helen; two daughters, Donna Zaborowski and Bonnie Wademan; nephew, Edward Goler; nieces, Marilyn DeRight, Carol Hyman, and Susan Solier; several grand-nieces and nephews; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Bovenzi Taddeo, 81, of Camillus, went to be with the Lord on Thursday at Crouse Hospital. She was a beloved member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and a volunteer at the Gift Shop after mass on Sunday. Mrs. Taddeo had been a supervisor for Bonwit Teller, a buyer for Chappells, Witherills, and Edwards Department Stores, and was a manager for the Lane Bryant Stores. Her husband, Stephen C. Taddeo died on April 7, 2003. Survived by two daughters, Estelle (Duane) Taddeo Gilbert of Houston, Texas, Stephanie (Frazier N.S.)
