April 21, 2005 Betty Belcher, 82, of Warners, died Thursday at home. A lifetime resident of Warners, she was a graduate of Warners High School. Betty was a postal clerk in Warners for 22 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Warners United Method-ist Church and United Methodist Women. She was also a member of Twins & Triplets of CNY. She was a former Campfire leader. Her husband, Fred C. Belcher Sr., died in 1969 and daughter, Nancy Marie Poupore, died in 2000. Surviving are her daughters, Carol (Gary) Gonyea of Weedsport, Jean (Terry) Shaffer of Marcellus and Terrie (David) Fancher of Enfield, CT; sons, Bruce Belcher of Warners, Jerry (Claudia) Belcher of Memphis and Fred Belcher of Interlaken; sister, Elsie Brunet of Tampa, FL; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Cosselman, 94, of Fulton, died Thursday at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton. Born in South Onondaga, she had been a resident of Fulton for over 60 years. Esther received a scholarship from Columbia University and graduated with a degree in nursing in 1940. After Columbia she completed her nursing residency at Yonkers General Hospital in Yonkers, New York. After graduation, Esther worked as a private nurse. She then joined the Nestle Company in Fulton as a Registered Nurse until her retirement. Esther was a member of State Street United Methodist Church in Fulton. She was predeceased by her husband, David H. Cosselman who died in 1997. Donegan, Bernard N. April 21, 2005 Bernard N. "Bernie" Donegan, 90, formerly of Brighton Towers, died Thursday at Loretto. Mr. Donegan was a life resident of Syracuse and retired from Suter & Son Construction Company as a truck driver following many years of ser-vice. He was a communicant of both St. James Church and St. Lucy's Church. He enjoyed listening to any and all types of music. His was predeceased by his son Richard N. Donegan who died in 1968. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, the former Dorothy M. Moore; a daughter, Dorothy (Bill) Flanagan of Syracuse; three sons, Robert L. She worked for Laser Transit and McLane North East before working as an instructor at NTTS, Liverpool, NY. Cheree was a certified Greyhound bus driver and once drove a mini-bus for the Salvation Army. She enjoyed arts and crafts and was an avid gardener. Mr. McArdle was a union bartender for many years in the Syracuse area, working at the former Yates Hotel and the Imperial Bar & Grill. Member of the Local #150 Hotel and Restaurant Industry Union. He was born in Fulton to his late parents, Joseph and Najla Thomas. George was a graduate of Fulton High School, class of 1948. He was a custom farmer specializing in heavy equipment operation. He served as extraordinary minister of Holy Communion, a lay trustee, and representative of his parish for the Phoenix Ecumenical Council of Churches. George belonged to the Knights of Columbus Council 5082 Baldwinsville, receiving Knight of the Year in 1977, Navigator of the Fourth Degree, Commander of the Color Guard, and council Grand Deputy Knight. Wilson, 80, of Onondaga Hill, passed away Thursday at Community General Hospital. Born on Onondaga Hill where he spent most of his life he had spent winters in Cape Coral, Florida and enjoyed summers at his camp on Grippen Lakein Ontario, Canada. William was a Navy Veteran of WWII. Following his discharge from the Navy, he worked for Lutzy Heating and later was the owner of Bill Wilson Plumbing & Heating and retired from General Electric Co. in 1985. He was a member of the Onondaga Hill United Methodist Church, Valley American Legion Post #1468, the Onondaga Hill Masonic Club Past Chief of the Onondaga Hill Fire Dept.
