Comstock, 66, Cicero, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday surrounded by her family and the love of many friends. A native of Sanford, Florida she resided in Cicero since 1967. In 2000, Sylvia retired from her numerous years of service in the retail and clerical fields with Wal-Mart, Home Place, Catherine's, Hess Dept. Store and Burns Brothers. She was an active and cherished member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Liverpool. She was the daughter of the late Margaret Waterman and her adoptive parents, Oscar and Helen Pearson. She was also predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Rowland; and her brothers, Donald and Robert Pearson. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Ronald Comstock; her two daughters, Constance Comstock and Karen (Robert) Downs all of North Syracuse; her brothers and sisters, June (William) Brockett, Linda Waterman, Eugene and Glen Waterman; four grandchildren, Christopher-John, Jessica, Ryan and Bethana, who will miss their "Non" so very much; several nieces, nephews, cousins and all of their children and her two beloved pets "Chewy" and "Zoe". Sylvia's most precious treasures were her family and friends; and her greatest gifts were her unconditional love, compassion, humor, and her deep abiding faith. Sylvia had an extraordinary talent for watercolor painting and stamping projects. Finch, age 63, of Halsey Rd., Pulaski, went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2005. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith, now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness". She was born on September 1, 1941 in Syracuse, the daughter of John and Lois Hartung O'Donnell. She resided in Pulaski since 1977, previously living in Clay. She graduated from Paul V. Moore High School in Central Square in 1958. She married Howard R. Finch, Sr. on April 28, 1959; he died on February 6, 2000. She was employed by the Cleanery in Pulaski for 25 years as a manager retiring in 2003. She was also employed by Goodyear in N. Syracuse and Parkay Motors in Fulton. Sarah was a member of the Pulaski Wesleyan Church. Surviving are three sons, Howard (Diane) Finch of Skaneateles, David (Penny) Finch of Pulaski, Michael (Karen) Finch of Pulaski; two daughters, Christine (John) Peterson of Pulaski, Sherri L. She lived on the North Side of Syracuse most of her life and retired in 1975 from the Mead Corporation after 23 years. She also attended Cazenovia Seminary and was a member of the P.E.A.C.E. organization. Her grandson, Ken Fraser predeceased her in 1992. Zwiesler Jr., 59, beloved father and grandfather, passed away at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. He was the owner of Fremont Auto Service in East Syracuse. He began his career as a skilledauto painter at Lincoln Mercury in Syracuse. Al was an expert mechanic, who enjoyed restoring old cars. His true passion was MOPARS. He was also an avid participant in classic car shows and frequently vacationed in Wells, Maine.
