He retired in 1993 as an engineering manager from General Electric after 33 years. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Fayetteville, and a member of the Holy Name Society. He was a former member of the village of Fayetteville Planning Board. He was a golf official and was a member of the U.S. Golf Association and a member and past officer of the Syracuse District Golf Association. His wife, Margaret, died in 1993. Monnell, Virginia "Ginny" August 21, 2005 Virginia "Ginny" (Neave) Monnell 77, of Onondaga Hill, quietly closed the window on her life in her home surrounded by family and friends on Sunday. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years, Chuck, in 1998. Ginny was given theVIM award for her work with the children of her community by the CIPO of Split Rock. She was past president of Split Rock Mothers' Club, active in the Split Rockettes entertaining group, member of the Onondaga Hill Senior Center, Senior Service Girl Scout leader, and owned and operated School Haven and "Teen Haven" in her home. She was also a member of the Camillus and Liverpool/Baldwinsville chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star, past grand chaplain of O.E.S. for the state of NY, and a member of the Daughters of the Nile. Her dedication to her family and extended family will always be remembered. Paprocki, 85, formerly of Black Ave W, Vernon, died peacefully Sunday afternoon at St. Joseph's Hospital with her loving family at her side. Almeta was born on May 22, 1920 in Turin, NY, daughter of the late Thomas H. and Augusta Dart Dewan and was a graduate of Boonville Central School and Watertown School of Commerce. She was united in marriage with Ralph Xardell in 1960 and enjoyed this union until his death in 1974. In 1983 Almeta and Chester Paprocki were united in marriage and enjoyed this union until Mr. Paprocki's death in 1996. Prior to her retirement in 1961, Almeta was employed as a stenographer with Niagara Mohawk in their Oneida and Utica offices. She gave freely and generously of her time as a volunteer at Oneida Healthcare Center where she was a member of their auxiliary. She was also a member of the Cochran Memorial Presbyterian Church. Surviving are one brother, Clyde Dewan of Sherrill; one sister Jeri Hoff, of Rochester; two special nieces, Marsha Campanaro, of Oneida and Susan Mix, of Freeville; a special nephew, Stephen and his wife Donna Dewan, of Canastota. Mrs. Paprocki was predeceased by her daughter Kathy in 1988 and her brother Alton Dewan. Marty was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and was an electrical lineman, retiring from Ni-agara Mohawk in 1994 after 35 years of service. Mr. Senn was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the V.F.W. Post #153 Baldwinsville, an avid hunter and fisherman with a great love for the outdoors and mostly enjoyed having a beer with friends.
