Prior to his retirement, Mr. Campagna was employed with Griffiss Air Force Base and had previously been employed with the former National Casket Company, Inc., located in Oneida. A veteran of World War II, he served with the United States Army in the European Theatre and was of the Catholic faith. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, where she was involved in The Women's Club, and was also active in the Golf League. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Jean Bills. Patulski, a resident of 105 Gillis Ave., Liverpool, died on August 22 at his home. Born in Hartford, CT, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Staron) Patulski. He was a graduate of the Fulton High School. He was employed with the United States Post Office for over 30 years. Mr. Patulski was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Navy in both the European and Pacific Theaters. He was one of the founding father's of the Fulton PLAV and was a member of the Fulton Polish Home. Mr. Patulski was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Parish Council and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. He also coached in the Liverpool Little League and built the first scoreboard. She was the wife of Clarence F. Potter. Mrs. Potter was born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania on November 30, 1925 daughter of the late William and Sadie (Flannery) Barrett. She was retired from Merritt Business Forms in Middlebury where she worked as the comptroller for many years. She and her husband enjoyed vacationing at their Summer home in the Adirondacks. August 21, 2005 Warren Clement Ramshaw, 79, died Sunday evening, August 21, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital, New Hartford, NY. He was born April 6, 1926, in Chicago, IL, the son of Ernest W. and Louise Schuster Ramshaw. He married Molly G. Niederlander inWilliamsville, NY on October 17, 1953. She predeceased him on July 13, 2000. Warren was an active participant in the life of Colgate University, the Episcopal Church, the Village of Hamilton, and, in his retirement, as a docent and member of the Art Advisory Committee of the Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute of Utica. He was a member of the Colgate University faculty from 1961 to 1992, having earned his BS, MA, and PhD degrees from the University of Illinois. His teaching specialties included the sociology of religion, sociology of education, research methods, and social stratification. He was a visiting faculty member at Episcopal Divinity School, Harvard Graduate School of Education, Manchester University and Panjab University in Chandigarh, India. He directed the Colgate India Institute in 1974, and was director for three years of the Colgate-Manchester Study Group. In 1988 he was awarded the Sydney and Florence Felton French Award for Inspirational Teaching, and in 1991 the Colgate Alumni Corporation's Distinguished Teaching Award. He had a long association with the Experiment in International Living, as a group leader (Sweden) and as a trustee. Warren was deeply involved in the life of the Episcopal Church at all levels - parish (warden, treasurer, lector, eucharistic minister, teacher); Diocese (Standing Committee, Commission on Ministry, eight times deputy to General Convention); and National Church (Chair of the Board for Theological Education; Chair of the General Board of Examining Chaplains; member of the Executive Council). Warren was a member of the Village of Hamilton Design Review Board, Sigma Chi fraternity, Hamilton Club, and was a past president of the Friends of the Colgate University Library. Warren is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Lyle M. and Charlotte Ramshaw of Savannah, GA; their son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Jennifer Ramshaw of Dedham, MA; a sister-in-law, Betty Murphy of Buffalo, NY; two nephews, Glenn E. Murphy, Jr. and his family of Chestnut Hill, MA; and Daniel B. Murphy and his family of Middleburgh, VA. Snyder, 83, of Lady Lake, Florida, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 7, 2005, at The Villages Hospital of Lady Lake after being stricken at home. Born in Clockville, NY, December 28, 1921, he was the son of the late Earl and Cora (Mason) Snyder. He lived in the Stockbridge area for more than 70 years, and wintered in Florida for many years, eventually moving to Lady Lake in 2000. Larry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and a caring member of his community. He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Dawn S. (Eagan) Snyder. He later married the former (Anna) Jean Waldron. Larry attended Stockbridge Valley Central School. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with the Operating Engineers Union, retiring in 1984. In addition he was self-employed as a heating and plumbing contractor. He was very active in the Stockbridge United Methodist Church and served on the Town of Stockbridge Board for many years. He also attended the Lady Lake Methodist Church in recent years. Larry enjoyed traveling with Jean throughout the United States during his retirement years. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, (Anna) Jean; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon D. and Anthony Eppolito of Canastota, Bonnie J. and Willis A. Diefendorf of Cazenovia and Kathleen A. Socha, Sr., 89, of Lawson Rd., Oriskany Falls, died late Sunday evening August 21, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital with his family at his side. Walter was born on April 22, 1916 in Utica, NY, a son of the late Ludwig J. and Anna Kolek Socha and received his education in the Utica and Knoxboro Schools. On February 14, 1942, Walter and Wanda Zombek were united in marriage at St. Mary's Church of Clinton and enjoyed this union until her death on June 15, 1998. Walter was a WWII veteran having served with the United States Army-Air Force during the years of 1942-1945 and served his community as Welfare Officer for the Town of Augusta. Prior to his retirement in 1980, Walter and Wanda successfully ran the family farm. Walter was a Nascar fan and enjoyed his vacations attending 32 of the Indy 500 races. Surviving are his three sons and three daughters-in-law, Walter, Jr. (Skip) and Valerie (Sacco) Socha of Camillus, Jeff and Debi (Carinci) Socha of Oriskany Falls, Greg and Lori (Fuess) Socha of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Walter was predeceased by his wife, Wanda; two brothers, Stanley, Leo and a sister, Mary. Born in Brooklyn, he was a retired sales representative for Thomas & Betts in New Jersey. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. His wife, Laura died in 1990. Surviving are a daughter, Jane Trezise of Liverpool; a son, Bruce Trezise of Islip; and five grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Skaneateles. Wilson, age 57, of Pulaski, died on Sunday from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born on December 29, 1947 in Syracuse, the daughter of William and Edith Fox Frank. She resided at Sandy Pond since 1999 previously living in Pulaski for 30 years. She graduated from ESM High School in 1966; and married Scott Wilson on July 23, 2000. Cheryl was employed by Douglaston Manor for 20 years, and had been an independent housekeeper for the past six years. Surviving are her husband, Scott B.; one daughter, Christine L. (Roger) Lallier of Lacona; two sons, Ronald E. (Elaine) Stevens, Jr. of Cicero, Barnard (Maria) Stevens of Liverpool; three stepdaughters, Stephanie, Nichole and Renea Wilson all of Pulaski; one sister, Brenda Wilbur of Syracuse; three brothers, Marshall, Robert, and James Sinko all of Syracuse; four grandchildren. Born in Brooklyn, she came to Syracuse In 1975, where she married Charles Woodworth. They moved into the Hotel Syracuse, where she lived until the hotelclosed. Charles Woodworth died in 1988. Mrs. Woodworth was a retired from Seaboard Steel Co. of NYC. where she worked as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Woodworth is a member of Plymouth Congregational Church and was a former member of Lafayette Ave. United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Woman's group. She also was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Women Press Club of NY and the Business Woman's Club of NYC. She is survived by her sons, William Woodworth of CA and James Woodworth of CT; a niece, Florence Litchfield also of CA and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She retired after 20 years as an OS & D clerk with Pilot Trucking. Shewas a member of Mother of Twins. She was also an avid bowler, golfer and bridge player.
