Bryant, 71, of North Street, Camden, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2005, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born February 5, 1933, in Amboy, NY, a son of Harry and Elizabeth Bellamy Bryant. On July 23, 1955, he married Joan Suits in Amboy, NY. Dale served with the U.S. Army from 1955 until 1957 when he fell ill with polio. Mrs. Gaffney was born on January 2, 1920, in DeWitt, New York, a daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Reinman McNeill. She was educated at Fayetteville Central High School and was a graduate of Syracuse University. She taught home economics for several years in the Sauquoit Valley Central School System. On July 1, 1944, she married the late Justin James Gaffney in Our Lady of Solace Church in Syracuse. Mrs. Gaffney was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Utica. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Thomas Schaeffer of Rochester, Anne and John Monahan of Utica, and Mary and Ronald Yehle of Syracuse; and her grandchildren, Colleen Yehle Woodworth and her husband Scott, Daniel Justin Monahan, John James Monahan, Jeremy Justin Yehle and Catherine Mary Monahan. She was a graduate of Liverpool High School and retired from the Federal Government. Mary was a communicant of St. Joseph the Worker Church. She is predeceased by her parents, James V. and Mary E. Casler. Survived by her cousins, Charles (Rita) Horton of South Onondaga and Theresa (Lee) Holmes of Marcellus. Titus II, Raymond Charles January 30, 2005 Raymond Charles Titus, II, 55, of Syracuse, passed away at home with his family at his side on Sunday. Raymond was born in Syracuse, attended St. John the Evangelist School, and attended SU where he majored in journalism. Mr. Ti-tus was previously employed by Syracuse Model Neighborhood Corp. for many years where he mastered in interior home improvements. He was a licensed asbestos remover, and a former assistant editor for Booker T. Washington Community Center's Newsletter in Auburn. He was predeceased by his father Raymond Leroy Titus in 1994 and his son Charles Griffin in 2002. Survivors: his mother, Ruth Owens-Davis of Syracuse; daughters, April Stroman-Williams, Nichelle Titus, Monica Griffin, Stephanie Griffin, Lara Griffin, Akiva Titus-Hadley and Anoni Titus, all of Syracuse; sons, Derrick Titus, Barrakka Titus, Chamarr Titus, Jerome Little, all of Syracuse, Kenyatta (Letrece) Titus, who is a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army stationed in Iraq, and Rakim (Nicole) Titus of Akron, OH; sisters, Stephanie (Ronald) Titus Warford and Sharene Titus, both of Syracuse; brothers, Kirk S. Valerino, Margaret (Fall) January 30, 2005 Margaret L. Valerino, 93, of Lakeland, passed away Sunday at Community General Hospital. Born in Warners, she lived in Lakeland most of her life. Mrs. Valerino was co-owner of Val's Motors, Inc. since 1929. She was a communicant of Our Lady ofPeace Church and member of its Altar and Rosary Society, a member of the former Geddes Business and Professional Women's Club and was a Volunteer for the American Red Cross. She was predeceased by her husband and founder of Val's Motors, Inc., Louis A. Valerino, Sr. in 1985 and her son, Louis A. Valerino, Jr. in 1987. Wightman, 82, of Vestal, died Saturday evening, January 29, 2005, at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Vivian Wightman; and a grandson, Mark B. Wightman. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeanne Wightman, Vestal; four children and their spouses, Mel and Sandra Wightman, Chenango Forks, Maurie and Vera Wightman, Syracuse, Shirley Dahl, Larkspur, CA, Nancy and Jim Riley, Vestal; six grandchildren. Funeral and interment services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. Jose Valencia will officiate. "Mark" January 30, 2005 Marshall E. "Mark" Wilde, 95, formerly of Syracuse and Leonard St., Mattydale, died Sunday, at James Square Nursing Home. He was a life resident of the Onondaga Valley area before moving to Mattydale in 1984. He attended Vocational HighSchool and Syracuse University School of Engineering. He married Helen Blake of Hannibal in 1930. He retired in 1971 from Crucible Steel, after 35 years as a draftsman and engineer in charge of special projects. He earned and acquired his pilot's license and flew his own CESNA plane out of the Nedrow airport. He began taking courses in house wiring and later in radio and finally in television repair. In 1980 a friend took him to the Corinthian foundation's wagon wheel senior center where he met Evelyn Zoll who was at the time president of the steering committee of the center and an avid volunteer nurse for the Onondaga County Health Department. They married in 1984 and Mark joined her in volunteering for the health department. He did clerical work at the flu, pneumonia, hypertension and rabies clinics for 16 years until his own health started to fail. After suffering a fractured hip and unsuccessful therapy, he was admitted to James Square in 2002. Mark was a 32nd degree Free and Accepted Mason and a member of the Crossroads Lodge since 1942. He was also was a member of the Central City Bodies of the Scottish rite and the Grand lodge, a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church where in earlier years he rang the church bell on Sunday mornings, and a member of the Vestry. He was a member of the Syracuse Monarch Club, the Crucible Retirees Club, the auxiliary of the Onondaga Health Department, the Mattydale-Hinsdale Seniors, AARP and RSVP. He was predeceased by his first wife Helen in 1978 and his eldest son Donald in 2002. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Evelyn; his daughter Charlotte (Gerald) Dietrich of Lafayette, NJ; one son Stephen (Jane) Wilde of Rochester; a stepdaughter Diane Guadagno of Mattydale; a stepson Albert Zoll of Valrico, FL; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Krueger Funeral Home, Mattydale.
