He was born on February 27, 1917 in the Town of Williamstown, the son of Frank and Neva Smith Craig. He graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1935. He married Irene H. Barnes on June 30, 1940. He previously resided in Cicero for 10 years and Pineville for many years. He was employed by GE in Syracuse for 25 years retiring in 1981. He was also employed by Ontario Iron Works in Pulaski for 13 years. He was a member of the Caughdenoy United Methodist Church, Russell Tryon American Legion Post #1435, Altmar, Central Square Grange, Teamsters Local #317, Syracuse, Oswego Trappers, and life member of Albion Fish & Game Club. Born in Ellenville, New York he was a graduate of Ithaca College and a teacher in the Cicero-North Syracuse School district for over 30 years. He was a supervisor of student teachers at SUNY Cortland, a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, LaFayette and a longtime member of the LaFayette Community Band. He was a veteran of the US Army. He loved children, Syracuse University sports and gardening. Dillabough, 75, of Thomaston, Maine, died Thursday, December 30, 2004 in Portland. Born in Syracuse, New York, he was the son of Ebert and Edith Armstrong Dillabough. He was a graduate of Central High School. Although diagnosed with asthma as a boy, Leo's desire to play trombone outweighed all precaution. Leo took trombone lessons from teacher, Pedro Lozano, a man he regarded a great musician. Leo did not have another asthma attack for 50 years. He served with the New York State and U. S. Army Reserve bands. He worked in management at an Autolite/Prestolite in East Syracuse then moved to the Chicago and Houston areas. Although an accomplished businessman, Leo pursued music throughout his life. His first serious job as a musician was traveling with the Larry Fotine band. He also played with the Tommy Dorsey and Woody Herman Bands. While living in Syracuse, he often played with the Mario DeSantis and Dick Kowell Bands as well as the Syracuse Symphony. He frequently played for many artists at Three Rivers Inn. Leo regarded an impromptu jam session with Charlie Parker as a highlight of his life. Retiring in 1999, the Dillabough's moved to Thomaston, Maine to be closer to their daughter and her family. He enjoyed cooking, occasional camping trips and being a member of a local gym. Solomon, Pam January 30, 2005 Pam Solomon, age 62, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2005, at her home in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Born in Bronx, NY, she grew up in Kingston, NY, and graduated from Syracuse University in 1964 with a BS in education of physically handicapped children, followed by a MS degree in education of emotionally disturbed children. She was a member of Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority. She taught at the Ed Smith and Charles Andress Schools. Pam was committed to, and active with, the Vera Andress House (home for battered women), Planned Parenthood, and co-founded Women's American ART, Hospice of Palm Beach County. Her public service and concern for others was apparent in her day to day lifestyle and was exemplified in her commitment to those who were less fortunate. Pam was a role model to her peers and received great admiration for her bravery, her dedication, and positive outlook on life. Surviving are two sons, P.J. Solomon of Boston, MA, and Neal Solomon of Alpharetta, GA; a daughter-in-law, Nanci Solomon, and two grandsons, Nathaniel and Nicholas Solomon of Alpharetta; a brother, Dr. Jeffrey Moak and his wife Pam of Schenectady, NY; and a loving, wonderful companion of many years, Donald Sanders of Manlius, NY, and Palm Beach Gardens, FL. A Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2005, at Temple Society of Concord in Syracuse, NY, where she was a member. Calling hour will be 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Terrill, Mable Louise Adsitt Adsitt Terrill January 28, 2005 Mable Louise Adsitt Terrill, 94, of Fabius, New York, passed away at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and John Knowles, in Seattle, Washington, on January 28, 2005. Mrs. Terrill was born in Fabius, New York, on December 1, 1910. She was the daughter of Herbert and Evelina Adsitt who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Fabius High School and Cortland Normal School. She also attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. She was a licensed minister with the Methodist church and filled pulpits regularly in the Fabius area. She was a member of the LaFayette Alliance Church and a former teacher of the Ladies Adult Sunday School Class. She was also a member of many senior citizens groups and the Fabius Historical Association. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Adsitt. Mrs. Terrill is survived by her husband, David Eugene Terrill Jr., to whom she was married on October 20, 1937. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Lee Clendenning of Rome, GA, and Evelyn and John Knowles of Seattle, Washington; one son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Linda Terrill of Lebanon, OH; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Several cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held at the LaFayette Alliance Church in LaFayette, New York, on Thursday, February 3, 2005, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral. Valerino, 93, of Lakeland, passed away Sunday at Community General Hospital. Born in Warners, she lived in Lakeland most of her life. Mrs. Valerino was co-owner of Val's Motors, Inc. since 1929. She was a communicant of Our Lady ofPeace Church and member of its Altar and Rosary Society, a member of the former Geddes Business and Professional Women's Club and was a Volunteer for the American Red Cross. She was predeceased by her husband and founder of Val's Motors, Inc., Louis A. Valerino, Sr. in 1985 and her son, Louis A. Valerino, Jr. in 1987.
