February 18, 2005 William V. Brisbin Jr., 62, formerly of Syracuse, NY, died February 18, 2005 at Lincoln Medical Center. He was born in Seneca Falls, NY, son of the late William V. Brisbin Sr. and Myrtle E. Hodges Brisbin. He retired from Carrier Corp. after 36 yearsof service and will be remembered for his love and laughter. He was truly a special man. Survivors include his wife, Mary Doran Brisbin; a daughter, Michele Russell of Mt. Holly; three sons: William Brisbin III of Huntersville, Robert Brisbin of Orlando, FL, and Timothy Brisbin of Ranlo; two brothers, Patrick Brisbin of Inverness, FL, and Michael Brisbin of Ft. DiTota, Joseph February 19, 2005 Joseph DiTota, 85, loving father and grandfather, passed away peacefully Saturday at Birchwood Health Care Center, surrounded by his family. Joseph was the youngest of eight children born in Campobasso, Italy. He had lived in Syracuse since1966 and retired from Peter's IGA as a butcher. Mr. DiTota was a member and very active at his church, First Christian Assembly of God. He also was a veteran of WWII Italian Army. Zajac, Stella Sokolowski February 20, 2005 Stella Sokolowski Zajac was peacefully called home by the Lord on Sunday morning. Stella was born on June 22, 1907, in Syracuse, NY. Stella was a lifelong communicant of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, a member of the Saint Joseph Society and avocalist with the I.J. Paderewski Choir. After more than 20 years of service, Mrs. Zajac retired from Crouse Hinds Company to Sun City Center, FL. She enjoyed traveling, golfing, bowling and camping and was a devoted and loving mother and Babci. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Zajac, in 1975. She is mourned by her loving daughter, Joan (Joseph) Hupp- man of Clearwater, FL, and her devoted son, Carl Zajac of Camillus. Stella was blessed with seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Her presence in these lives will be profoundly missed.
