Beals, 85, life resident of Baldwinsville, died Monday at Crouse Hospital after a brief illness. He retired as a mechanic from Crest Cadillac. He was an Army veteran of both WWII and Korea. Morrell, Ruth December 31, 2004 Ruth Morrell (Myers) passed away early Friday morning, December 31, 2004, with her family by her side. Ruth had a long and wonderful life, enjoying Christmas dinner this year with her children and grandchildren. A few days later, her wish topass on quickly and peacefully was fulfilled. Ruth was born in 1909 in Buffalo, NY, one of eight children of Emily (Westphal) and John Myers. She graduated from Kenmore High School. She married the love of her life, Astley ("Pat"/"Short") Francis Morrell in 1942. Although Pat died in 1958, she kept him alive in the hearts and minds of her two young children, Douglas and Marsha. Ruth moved to Syracuse when Pat's work transferred him there. She lived most of her life there. In 1996 Ruth moved to Vermont, where Ruth was lovingly cared for by her son Doug and his wife Marcia prior to moving to nearby Brownway Residence. She is survived by her son and his wife, Douglas and Marcia Morrell of Richmond; her daughter and her husband, Marsha Morrell and Bob Gilhooly of Jericho, Vermont; and seven grandchildren, Cathy, Sherri, Sean, Colleen, Meghan, Jeff and Brian. All of her siblings, Charlotte, John, Harvey, Irving, Evelyn, Sidney and Arthur, predeceased her. Visiting hours are 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2005, followed by a 4 p.m. service, at the Covenant Community Church. January 2, 2005 James S. "Jimmy" Stewart, 27, of Syracuse, died Sunday in Rochester. He was a graduate of Fowler High School Class of 1995 and a communicant of St. James Church. He was employed as a cashier at Mobil in Rochester. He enjoyed sports, particu-larly baseball, basketball and football and was an avid sports card collector. He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Stewart in 1988. Wentworth, 76, of Liverpool, died Monday. Born in Betula, PA, Mrs. Wentworth, while residing in the Buffalo area, was employed 17 years with the New York Telephone Company. She retired from P & C Foods having worked there several years. She was a member of the Liverpool First United Methodist Church. She is predeceased by her husband, Carl N., who died in 2003. Mrs. Wentworth is survived by her mother, Bernice Dennis of Olean; and her sister, Marlene E. Sullivan of Springville; several nieces and nephews. He was a native and life resident of Baldwinsville, wintering in Delray Beach, FL. Wilson retired in 1967 as superintendent of the Baldwinsville Water Depart-ment. He was previously a self-employed plumber. Wilson was a member of the Baldwinsville First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Dept. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Marion A. Adsit in 1963 and his second wife, the former Dorothy Connell Bennett in 2001; a daughter, Kaye S. Houck and two stepchildren, Martha and James Bennett. Survivors: a daughter, Karen W. Winters of Onondaga Hill; a son, William H. of Lowville; three stepdaughters, Mary B. Wormuth of Lowville, Cynthia Brown of Yorba Linda, CA, and Joan Kimball of Spencer, MA; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
