Sova, 53, of Peach Blow Road, Cato, NY, died unexpectedly, Saturday, January 15, 2005 at Newark-Wayne Hospital, Newark, NY. David was born in Syracuse, NY on December 5, 1951 the son of the late Lloyd and Vaudene Jutton Sova. He resided most of his life in Cato. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member and the current Bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Auburn, NY, a retired professional firefighter, and a Cub & Boy Scout leader. Currently, he was employed by the Village of Red Creek & Wolcott Ambulance Corps as an EMT, Chief of CIMVAC, and a member of the Victory Fire Department and former chief. Loretta was born in Syracuse and moved to Oswego in the 1930's, returning to Onondaga Hill in 1966. She had assisted her late husband, EarlW. Zimmerman, who died in 1996, at the Zimmerman Photographic Studio in Oswego, and later she was the co-owner of Nedrow Easy Wash Laundromat, Nedrow. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church and an avid SU fan.
