She was born in Chicago, IL, on February 4, 1927, and was the daughter of Lloyd and Violet Martinsen. Mrs. Beney lived in Niagara Falls until moving to Camillus in 1964 and resided at The Nottingham in Jamesville for the past two years. She was a graduate of LaSalle High School, served as a member of the Prince of Peace Altar & Rosary Society and was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Mrs. Beney was employed by Le Moyne College Bursar's Office until her retirement in 2000. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Richard J. Beney, in May 2003. January 24, 2005 Elizabeth Anne Bohosian, 64, of Lakeland, died Monday at home. She grew up in Manlius, was a longtime resident of Fairmount, and more recently resided in Lakeland. Elizabeth was a 1958 graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Charles G. Bohosian, of Syracuse; daughter, Jeannie (John) Klix of Lakeland; sons, Scott of West Seneca and Daryll of Fairmount; sister, Jeannie Rayfield of Jamesville; brother, Robert McAleer of Manlius and grandchildren, Alexander Bohosian and Jennifer Rose Klix. Caruso, 74, passed away suddenly on Saturday. He was born and lived his entire life in Syracuse. Mr. Caruso was a graduate of North High School, Le Moyne College, and Syracuse University College of Law. He was a self-employed at-torney in Syracuse for many years. Mr. Caruso was a member of the American Bar Association and a former member of the Lincoln Republican Club. He graduated from Morristown High School in 1932. He was married to Peggy Woodin 1935; she died in 1987. He then married Gladys Merriman in 1988. He was employed by Maine Brother Oil Co. for 16 years, retiring in 1979. Previously he was employed by Bell Aircraft and John Hancock Ins. Co. He was a member of the Ancient Temple #14 in Albany, a Grand High Priest State of NY Royal Arch Masons, a member of the Scottish Rite, a member of Oneiquethaw Eastern Star Chapter 818, Delmar, also belonged to Knights of York Cross of Honor, Albany, Red Cross of Constantine, Albany, and was Past President of the Florida State High Twelve. Cusick, Patricia Barry January 22, 2005 Patricia Barry Cusick, 84, of 8347 Rt. 34, Weedsport, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 22, 2005. Patricia was born on March 28, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret McGurk. She was a graduate and the salutatorian of the Holy Family class of 1939. She graduated from Nazareth College Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in music and English education. Patricia was president of her class in both her freshman and senior years. After graduation she immediately joined the USO and was stationed in Florida as a program director for over three years. After working at the Neighborhood House in Auburn for less than a year, she married New York State Assemblyman and attorney Charles A. Cusick, and was married to him until his death in 1981. Her civic activities included organist in several churches in central and western NY, the United Way, the Red Cross Blood Bank, Cayuga Home, Auburn Memorial Hospital trustee, president of the Auburn Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, president of the Cayuga County Women's Republican Club, National Council of Catholic Women, trustee of the Weedsport Free Library, and trustee of the St. Joseph's (Weedsport) Cemetery Association. She succeeded her husband as president of Buck Point Inc. She was a member of the Owasco Country Club, St. Joseph's Church of Weedsport, and Auburn Nautilus. Patricia is survived by her son Barry of Weedsport, and four nieces, Marylyn Ianiri Anderson (Bob) of Sodus, Maureen O'Hara (Mike) of Fleming, Michelle Clancy (Kevin) of NJ, and Marcie Bannon (Bob Blaisdell) of VA. She was predeceased by her parents and sisters, Margaret "Peg" Bannon and Marylyn Barry. There will be no public calling hours for Patricia. She was predeceased by her husband, James DeLisle in 1966. January 22, 2005 Charles Ridgway Loux, 92, died Saturday. Born in Berwick, PA, he grew up in Troy, NY, graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1933 with a degree in mechanical engineering. During the depression he worked in bridge construction including the Rip VanWinkle Bridge at Catskill, NY. Mr. Loux worked for many years for the Solvay Process Division of Allied in Syracuse, NY, before transferring to corporate headquarters in 1969. Upon retirement, he enjoyed consulting for many years. Mr. Loux was a member of the First Universalist Church of Syracuse and was a life member of the Masons Memorial Lodge #648, North Syracuse. While living in Whippany, he was active in Congregators at Stanley Congregational Church in Chatham. Mr. Loux enjoyed family and friends, crossword puzzles, music, reading and a fine sense of humor. His loving wife, Mary Elizabeth (Sleeth), died in 1995. He is survived by his two daughters, Lucy Anne of Whippany and Martha Jane Wicksall and her husband Jack of Chandler, Arizona; his grandson Timothy Charles Mack of Fraser, MI, and his wife Amy, and three great-grandchildren, Lilli, Sammy and Abby Mack.
