She was born in Constantia and lived there for most of her life. She was a member of Constantia Center Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Hugh of North Syracuse; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at the Constantia Center Baptist Church with burial in Constantia Center Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Kimmich, age 101, formerly of 1867 Owego Hill Road, Virgil, NY, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at the Cortland Care Center, Cortland, NY. Mrs. Kimmich was born June 1, 1904, at Milwaukee, WI, a daughter of the late Albert and Sophie Kissinger Mantey. Her husband, Ralph Kimmich, to whom she was married on June 25, 1925, in Little York, NY, passed away Dec. 16, 1995. They celebrated 70 years of marriage. She was an active participant in many clubs and organizations including the Virgil Historical Society, Virgil Home Bureau, and served on the Cortland County Board of the Home Bureau. Mrs. Kimmich was a member of the Virgil Senior Citizens and assisted in the record keeping of the Virgil Rural Cemetery for many years while Mr. Kimmich was the caretaker and president of the association. Survivors include her daughters, Rosalind J. Kimmich of Auburn and Mary Lou (Keith) Hatfield of Scipio Center, NY; three grandchildren, Joan (Patrick) Costello of Oxford, Bruce (Marcia) Hatfield of Scipio Center, NY, and Ann (Daniel) Carey of Groton; nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Robert Mantey; and a sister, Marian Welch. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2005, at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. David H. Nicholls of the Dryden United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Virgil Rural Cemetery. Livesey, 66, and a resident of 91 County Route 89 in the Town of Oswego, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 29, 2005, in the Province of Quebec. He was born in North Dartmouth, Mass., and was the son of the late George and Jo-hanna Szarek Livesey. He was a graduate of Southeastern Massachusetts University, Dartmouth Campus, where he received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Prior to joining Rudy's in 1966, he was employed at Grumman Aircraft Co. on Long Island, NY, and worked on the development of the first space shuttle, "Black Boy." Mr. Livesey was a founding member of the Oswego Town Volunteer Fire Department. Brad served on the board of directors of several local organizations. He was named to the Oswego State University College Council by Gov. Mario Cuomo. Mr. Livesey served on the Oswego Town Zoning Board and was a member of the Oswego Country Club, the Oswego Elk's Lodge, and the Shriners. Mr. Livesey was a long-standing member of the Atlantic Salmon Federation. He loved many outdoor activities such as hunting and golf. His greatest passion was fishing, taking his last breath while catching a silver salmon on a fly. Brad is survived by his former high school sweetheart and wife of 45 years, Carol L. (Cordeiro) Livesey of Oswego; one daughter, Allison and Christian St. Pierre of Nelson, British Columbia; one son, Jason and Julie (Manwaring) Livesey of Oswego; his grandchildren, Braeden Livesey, Astrid St. Pierre and Kaeden Livesey, who are all his pride and joy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Wednesday, 9 a.m., in St. Mary's Church.
