Carballo, Lina (Vercelloni) June 1, 2005 Lina (Vercelloni) Carballo, 103, of Solvay, passed away in the presence of her nephew and the loving Nursing and Senior Health Care Aides on the 5th floor, Cunningham Unit of Loretto. Born in the Village of Sizzano in the Piedmont Region of Northern Italy, she came to America in 1907 with her parents. She has resided in Solvay all her life and was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church. Lina worked for Sears & Roebuck Co. for 40 years as a dispatcher in the warehouse, retiring in 1967. She may have been the oldest living retiree of Sears. Her family came first and she was devoted to caring for her parents, brothers and sisters. Lina was predeceased by her beloved husband Antonio in 1954. Surviving are a nephew, several nieces in the area, several great-nephews and great-nieces across the country. Services will be conducted at 8 a.m. Saturday in Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home and 8:45 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Randall, Brian Curtis May 27, 2005 Brian Curtis Randall, 33, of Tamarac, Florida, formerly of Bainbridge, NY, unexpectedly died on Friday, May 27, 2005. Brian was born in Oneida, NY, on July 20, 1971. He was a 1990 graduate of Bainbridge-Guilford High School and attended SUNY Oneonta. He worked on the family farm until moving to Sunrise, FL, in 1995. He worked as a water purification technician in south Florida. He was a faithful fan of the Dallas Cowboys as well as NASCAR; however, his greatest joy in life was his family. Brian was a very generous, loving and thoughtful husband, daddy, son, brother and uncle. Brian touched the lives of everyone he knew and he will be deeply missed by all, but never forgotten. He is survived by his wife of six years, Michelle Randall, and loving children, Kaitlynn Marie and Joshua Curtis Randall. One of Dan's greatest passions was playing and coaching lacrosse where he was assistant at Liverpool HighSchool for the past 12 years. He was named Section III Lacrosse Man of the Year for CNY in 1997 and 2005. He was a volunteer with Camp Good Days and Special Times, Jamesville Beach Balloon Festival, and the Moyers Corners Fire Department. Dan loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time at his camp on Skaneateles Lake. He is predeceased by his father, Allan Spillett.
