Born in Greece, he came to the United States in 1955. He was a Millwright at New Process Gear for 26 years of service retiring in 1994. He was a mem-ber of St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church and Local 624 of the United Auto Workers. He is survived by his wife, Stavroula; daughter, Olga Anastasiou; two sons, Alex and Nicholas Anastasiou; grandchildren, Katerina (Richard) Spears and Alex Anastasiou; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Oliva Spears; brother, Paul (Milka) Stoyan; and a sister, Zoia (Frank) Robinson and several nieces and nephews. Galli June 23, 2005 Angela E. Galli Cacciotti, 92, passed away Thursday at Loretto. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Angelo Cacciotti in 1979. Mrs. Cacciotti was employed as a hand seamstress by Learbury Clothes for more than 50 years. Shewas a communicant of St. Daniel's Church. Surviving are her sister, Phyllis J. Eisenhauer, Leslie George June 23, 2005 Leslie George Eisenhauer, 87, of Baldwinsville, NY, died Thursday, June 23, 2005 at his home. He was born in the township of Orleans, Jefferson County, November 6, 1917, at his grandfather's, George E. Baldwin's home. He graduatedfrom Dexter High School, Potsdam Normal School, Buffalo State Teacher's College with a BS in Education Degree and Saint Lawrence University with a Masters in Education Degree. He taught in three different one-room schools (2 on Grindstone Island) before entering the U.S. Army in 1942. He served in the European Theater of Operations in England and France. After his discharge in 1945, he taught in Clayton and then in Herkimer. Besides junior high social studies, he also taught Americanization classes and adult driver education while in Herkimer. He retired as principal of Van Buren Elementary School in Baldwinsville after 16 1/2 years in 1974. He was a member of numerous professional organizations. He was a 69-year active member of the United Methodist Church, 47 of them in Baldwinsville: 54-year member of the Masonic Lodge, Baldwinsville Men's Garden Club: trustee of Baldwinsville Public Library: Riverview Cemetery Board: and Armchair Travelers Club. After retirement he enjoyed volunteer work in church: in the community as an AARP Tax Aid and Meals on Wheels driver: and pursuing hobbies of collecting coins and post cards, flower and vegetable gardening, square dancing, photography, and traveling. He and his wife, Shirley, traveled to 49 states and six continents. He was predeceased by his first wife, Roselyn House, in 1970 and brother, Roscoe, in 1981. Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Shirley M. Wallace; daughter, Eileen Kozo of Whitehall, PA; son, Karl, of Syracuse; two brothers, Wesley, of Watertown, NY, and Virgil, of Camillus, NY; three sisters, Tressia of Watertown, NY, Audrah Moran of Zephyrhills, FL, and Louise Hoppel of Clayton, NY; two grandsons, Keith Kozo of Mountain View, CA, and Kevin Kozo of Reading, PA; two great-grandchildren, Kelly and Nicholas Kozo of Reading, PA; and 122 nieces and nephews. Vaccaro, Sr., 83, 122 Chapel Street, died Thursday afternoon, June 23, 2005, in the Extended Care Facility of the Oneida Healthcare Center, where he had been a patient for the past five months. Born in Rome, on February 14, 1922,he was the son of Vito and Maria Carissimo Vaccaro. A resident of Canastota for the past 62 years. John was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. He married Florence Buttino in St. Agatha's Church, Canastota, on June 26, 1943. Prior to his retirement in 1984, with over 35 years of service, Mr. Vaccaro was employed as a department supervisor with the Oneida Furniture Corporation, formerly known as Keller Furniture Manufacturing Company, Inc., formerly located in Oneida. He was a communicant of St. Agatha's Church, a member of the American Legion, William Miller Post #140 in Canastota, the Amicizio Club of Canastota, the Galliano Club, was active in various bowling leagues, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. A veteran of World War II, John served with the United States Army in the European and Pacific Theatres. Surviving besides his wife, Florence, is one daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Leonard De Stefano of Manlius; two sons and daughters-in-law, John F. and Bonnie Vaccaro, Jr. and Ronald J. and Patricia Vaccaro, Sr., all of Canastota; one sister, Jennie Clapps of Rome; nine grandchildren, John Vaccaro III, Valarie Maglioli, Jennifer De Stefano, Lenny De Stefano, Ronald Vaccaro, Jr., Victoria Vaccaro, Michael Munson, Brandon Munson, and James Graziano; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Dolores M. Vaccaro on September 9, 1981 and two brothers, Leonard Vaccaro and Jerry Vaccaro.
