Corcoran, 33, of Pulaski, died Thursday in the town of Sandy Creek. He was born November 17, 1971, in Syracuse, the son of Francis and Isabelle Stenson Corcoran. Tim formerly resided in Altmar for 20 years, moving to Pulaski in April. He graduated from APW High School in 1990. He was employed by Goodrich Corp. in Rome for the past two years and was previously employed by Mitten Corp. and Babbitt Bearing, both in Syracuse. He was a member of the Ringgold Fire Dept in Pulaski and previously was a member of DeFiance Fire Dept. in Altmar. Tim was also a member of NOCA, serving as an EMT. Surviving are two sons, Reed and Will Corcoran; one daughter, Riley Corcoran; his father, Francis, all of Altmar; his brother and wife, Paul and Sherry Corcoran of Pulaski. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, she retired to Dunedin, FL; she returned later to Central New York. Graduating from Syracuse University School of Nursing in 1934, a registerednurse, Jane worked as a public health nurse and also as a nurse in the Syracuse City school district. She later taught nursing at the university. She was a charter member and past president of the CNY Ceramic Association. Jane taught from her Syracuse studio, N-Joy Ceramics, for over 30 years. She was a member of James Street United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald W. Lewis, in 1990. Published in the Syracuse Post Standard on 6/26/2005. Lynch, John F. June 23, 2005 John F. Lynch, 94, of Fayetteville, died Thursday at his son's home in Houston, Texas. Born in Syracuse to Owen and Julia Lynch, he graduated from Christian Brothers Academy and attended Georgetown University. Mr. Lynch marriedhis beloved wife, Mary Louise Harrigan, in 1936. They were married for 60 years before Mrs. Lynch died in 1996. Mr. Lynch was a communicant of Holy Cross Church in Dewitt, where he had formerly served as the co-chairman of the building campaign. He served on the Board of Trustees at Christian Brothers Academy and because of his devotion and support of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, he received a Letter of Affiliation, the highest honor bestowed by the Christian Brothers. He enlisted in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Lynch may have been most well known for his success in the field of commercial real estate in Upstate New York. From 1948 to 1985, he worked for Eagan Real Estate, where he served as vice president for the Commercial/Management Division. In 1986, at the age of 75, he founded The John Lynch Company, a commercial real estate and property management firm. His expertise and work ethic were legendary, and he served his community on many boards, including the Community Advisory Board for the Onondaga County Association for Retarded Children, Catholic Charities, Catholic Youth Organization, St. Joseph's Hospital, the Metropolitan Development Association, the Downtown Committee, the Greater Syracuse Board of Realtors, the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, Hill Haven Nursing Home, and the Advisory Board of Hancock International Airport. A well-known sports figure in Central New York, John Lynch was inducted into the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame in 1997; he was selected to the inaugural class of the LaSallian Sports Hall of Fame at Christian Brothers Academy in 2000; and in 2004, he was named to the Northside Hall of Fame. His athletic career began at CBA, and he was the last surviving member of the school's basketball team that won the 1930 Eastern States Championship. He was an outstanding high school basketball coach at CBA and at St. John the Baptist, St. Anthony's and St. Vincent's in the old parochial league. He was also a highly respected intercollegiate basketball official and an honorary member of the Collegiate Basketball Officials Association. Mr. Lynch was a founding member and past president of the Blind Men & Criers Marching and Chowder Society. He was a strong supporter of Syracuse University athletics and served on the boards of both the Orange Pack and the Varsity Club and was a member of the Dave Bing and the Ernie Davis clubs. He was an avid golfer throughout his life and was a member of the Onondaga Golf & Country Club and a longtime member of the Golfing Cavaliers of Syracuse. He is survived by his son, J. Terrence Lynch of Houston, TX; and daughter, Joy Yahwak of Saratoga Springs; grandchildren: Andrew Lynch, Megan Lynch Howard and Jeffrey Lynch; and great-granddaughter, Claire Elizabeth Howard. Pell, Helen June 24, 2005 Helen Pell, 87, of Weedsport, NY, died at home on Friday, June 24, 2005. Helen was born July 23, 1917, in DeWitt, NY, the daughter of the late George M. and Kathryn Warner Finn. She was a resident of Weedsport for most of her life, coming from Skan-eateles, NY. She graduated from Skaneateles High School and Auburn Business School. She had worked at Barr Manufacturing and Whitman's Hardware in Weedsport. Helen is survived by a son, Greg Kiefer, and his wife Lois of Stowe, VT; a daughter, Bonnie Chamberlain, and her husband Richard of Skowhegan, ME; a stepson, Butch, and his wife Cheryl of Interlaken; four grandchildren: Claire and Sara Chamberlain and Jessica and Coryn Kiefer.
