Mr. Glisson was born in Syracuse and lived in Westvale since 1949. He was the son of the late Henry and Florence Glisson. He was predeceased by his wife, Hildegarde E.(Heinz) Glisson, who died in 1993. Mr Glisson was a World War II veteran of the Pacific Theater, having served in the U.S. Army with Battery C of the 102nd Anti Aircraft Battalion, serving in campaigns in the East Indies, New Guinea, the Philippines and Australia. He was retired from Centro. He was a life and endowment member of the National Rifle Association. He was born in Syracuse and was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. He was also a member of the VFW Vendetti Post as a former officerand Knights of the Cross. Anthony was employed by the city of Syracuse as deputy director, Housing and Urban Renewal. Survived by his wife, Celestine (Maniccia) Maurillo of Syracuse; two daughters, Toni M. Spanfelner, 73, of Syracuse, passed from this life with dignity in the loving arms of his wife and three children after a long, courageous battle with heart disease. The son of George and Helen (Mahoney) Spanfelner, Lynn wasborn in Herkimer, NY, where he graduated from Herkimer High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a master's degree in education at Colgate University, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Study in education administration at Syracuse University. After teaching high school math for 10 years, Lynn was a business administrator at Westhill School District for 19 years. He enjoyed working at Key Bank after his retirement. Lynn was past president of the Association of School Business Officials and a member of the New York State Teachers' Association. He was also a member of Holy Family Seniors and Tuscarora Golf Club. He volunteered at the food pantry at Holy Family Church. Lynn will be deeply missed by his wife of 44 years, Mary Jane; sons, David (Barb) of Delaware and Scott (Laura) of Camillus; a daughter, Kristen (Eric) Davidson of Colorado; and grandchildren: Hannah, Madison, Sydney, Jack, Eva and Autumn. He is also survived by his brothers: Mert (Shirley), James (Jacqueline) and Joseph (Cornelia); and several nieces and nephews.
