March 22, 2005 Sallie T. Albrecht, 38, of Somerset Rd., Syracuse, died Tuesday. Born December 11, 1966, in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of Wilbur T., II and Dr. Janette (Sun) Albrecht. Sallie was a graduate of Cazenovia High School and Syracuse University, where she received her BA and master's degree in social work. She was a psychiatric social worker at the Cayuga Counseling Center in Auburn, and was also in private practice in Syracuse and Auburn. She was a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). Surviving are her parents of Cazenovia; a brother, Dr. Wilbur T. Albrecht, III, of Syracuse; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by her former husband, Clayton D. Andrews, II. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Baines, Elmo Arthur March 22, 2005 Bud Baines celebrated 91 wonderful years of life. He passed away on March 22, 2005, at Swan Creek Retirement Village in Toledo, Ohio, where he was a resident for the past seven years. Born in Schenectady, New York, he was a longtime resident of Fayetteville, New York. He was employed by the General Electric Company as an engineer for 42 years. Bud was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Anna Mae. He is survived by his daughters, Diana (Lee) Aldrich of Ormond Beach, FL, and Sharon (Darryl) Allen of Toledo, OH; six grandsons, Thomas (Beth) Aldrich, Robert (Suzanne) Aldrich, William (Deanna) Aldrich, Richard (Heather) Allen, James (Renee') Allen, and Michael Allen; seven great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; sister, Vivian Fuller; and his special friends at Swan Creek who shared coffee and wisdom. She was born on May 27, 1908, in Orwell, the daughter of Samuel and Nellie McKinney Bass. She resided in Orwell, moving to St. Petersburg, FL, in 1970, then back to Pulaski in 2003. She graduated from Pulaski High School and Syracuse Normal School. She taught elementary school in Richland for over 30 years. She married Donald H. Clark, who passed away in 1951. She married Frank C. Clark and Paul Berner, who both predeceased her. She was a member of the Orwell Union Church. Surviving are two sons, Donald C. Clark, and Herbert and his wife Patricia Clark; two daughters, Flower and her husband Glenn MacMillen, and Muriel Clark and her husband Corte Spencer, all of Pulaski; two sisters, Viola Abel of Sarasota, FL, and Muriel Heredia of Miami, FL; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Crisafulli, Rose March 22, 2005 Rose Crisafulli, 87, of Fulton, NY, died on March 22, 2005, at St. Luke's Health Services in Oswego, NY, after a short illness. Ms. Crisafulli was born in Fulton, NY, the daughter of the late Santo and Agatina Crisafulli, and has resided in Fulton all of herlife. She retired from Sealright, Fulton, in 1982. Rose and her brother Tony operated the Crisafulli Food Market on Erie Street from 1941 until the late 70's. Ms. Crisafulli was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception where she also volunteered for many years in the bingo kitchen. A member of the Granby Senior Citizens group, Rose enjoyed traveling and bowling and breakfast at Mimi's, and worked on the Fulton Board of Elections. Ms. Crisafulli was predeceased by three brothers, Anthony, Charles and Joseph Crisafulli, and one sister, D. Mary Crisafulli. She will be lovingly remembered by her seven nieces and nephews, John (Joyce) Crisafulli, Carol (Terry) Scullin, Jean (Jake) Ballard, Sharon Buske, Charles (Connie) Crisafulli, Marie Morrell and Joseph Crisafulli; and by 14 great-nieces and nephews, and 10 great-great-nieces and nephews. Born in Homer, he was a self-employed painter for many years. He was a member of the Finger Lakes Car Club and a member of the VFW. He was a proud foster grandparent at Elmcrest Children's Center for over 20 years. He was a sergeant in the Army Air Force during WWII invading Africa, Sicily and Beach Head Anzio. While in the Army he was also a squadron painter. He is survived by his sons, Frederick G. of Cato and Alan D. of Florida; grandchildren Todd, Frederick A. and Chrissy; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Milton DeVaul. Born in Montague, MA, she lived in Corinth, NY and was an honors graduate of Corinth High School. She also lived at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio before moving to the Syracuse area in 1953. Joan attended Syracuse University and was a librarian for more than 30 years at Holy Family School and St. Charles Borromeo School. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church on Onondaga Hill and former communicant of both St. Charles Borromeo Church and Holy Family Church. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Stephen V. of Onondaga Hill; sons, Kevin M. (Eileen) of LaFayette and Stephen (Elizabeth) of Onondaga Hill; grandchildren, Addie, Benjamin, Louis, Brendan and Moira; sister, Louise Doherty of Corinth and several nieces and one nephew. Rao, Mary " Nona" March 20, 2005 Mary "Nona" Rao, 94, formerly of Englert Ave., Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Palm Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. One of eight children, Mary was born March 11, 1911, in Ali Marina, Sicily, and has lived in Syracuse since 1936. She was a communicant of St. Daniel's Church. Mrs. Rao was a self-employed seamstress for over 70 years, making clothes and doing alterations for hundreds of central New Yorkers. Mary enjoyed her garden and cooking for her family. Her husband John died October 19, 1957. Survivors: her son, Salvatore "Sam" (Irene) Rao of Baldwinsville; sister, Joanna Fiumara of Ali Marina, Sicily; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
