He retired in 1982 after 33 years with the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. Fol-lowing his retirement, Bob spent many hours as a photographer for the Baldwinsville Messenger, Community TV 98, his church and the many organizations he belonged to. Robert was a communincant of St. Mary's Church and a 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus Council #5082. An Army veteran of WW II, he served with the 28th Infantry Division and fought in all five major campaigns, including Normandy, northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and central Europe, receiving many medals, including the Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Star, Croix DeGuerre and Conspicuous Service Cross. Active in his community, Bob was selected as Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce Man of the Year in 1998. He retired from the town of Hannibal after more than 15 years. Mr. O'Bryan ownedand operated a homegrown fruit and vegetable stand for many years.
