Born in Syracuse, she was a manager for NY Janitorial Service in Syracuse for many years. She attended St. Augustine'sCatholic Church in Baldwinsville. She loved crafts and was an avid camper. DeStefano, Angelina Lucy May 6, 2005 Angie L. DeStefano "Big Ang," 70, of Lodi St., Syracuse, peacefully passed away on Friday. She was born in Utica and was a lifelong resident of Syracuse. Angie was a retired employee from the Syracuse School District. She was a member of St.Peter's Church. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. Angie was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand. She had a passion for going out to the movies, casino, shopping and dining. Angie enjoyed playing cards and her kazoo. She was always the life of the party. She will be remembered with love and missed by all. She was predeceased by her husband, Mathew J. DeStefano, 1997; brothers, Dominick, Michael, Joseph and Frank Commisso; sisters, Rose Altieri, Mary Barnello, Sarah Paratore and Madeline Giannino. Emmert, Elizabeth "Betty" May 7, 2005 Elizabeth "Betty" Emmert, 82, of Edden Lane, N. Syracuse, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Lehighton, PA, Mrs. Emmert resided in North Syracuse since 1947. Betty retired in 1982, after 16 years with the sales order department ofCarrier Corp. She was a longtime member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in North Syracuse and was very active in church groups and activities. She was also a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Centerville Chapter #185. She was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Zimmerman, in 1984 and is survived by her husband of 59 years, Willard "Bill" Emmert; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey K. and Lois A. Emmert of Chelsea, MI, and Eric G. and Debra S. Everett, Frank May 5, 2005 Frank "Big Frank" Everett, 76, of Syracuse, NY, passed away Thursday at Rosewood Heights Nursing Home. He was born on January 7, 1929, in Miami, FL. He retired from the local Teamsters Union 317 and worked as an independent truck driver for Owl Wire/Cable and CD&L. He was also a member of the Eastwood Senior Center in Syracuse. Frank was an avid bowler and fisherman. He also enjoyed participating in pitch tournaments and various card games with family and friends. Survivors: wife, Jean (Strife) Everett; son, Frank William (Mandy) Everett; daughter, Desiree (Patrick) Everett; stepchildren: Susan (Keith) Johnston, Barbara (Michael) Farmer and Brenda (Anthony) Mitchell; "sister" Narves Gammage (and family); eight grandchildren; many other family and friends. Prosser, Brian Churchill May 7, 2005 Brian Churchill Prosser, 62, of 805 W. Third Street South, Fulton, unexpectedly left his loving family to be with the Lord, on Saturday, May 7, 2005. Brian was born on September 1, 1942, the eldest son of the late Churchill and Agnes Car-roll Prosser. Raised in Mowhawk, NY, he was a graduate of Mohawk High School's Class of 1960 and held a bachelor's degree in computer science and technology from SUNY College of Technology at Utica-Rome. Brian was honorably discharged following many years of service in the United States Army National Guard. On April 16, 1966, Brian was united in marriage to Joyce Palmer. They shared a blessed union of 39 years. Brian was employed by the former Remington Arms in Ilion, NY, until the family's move to Fulton in 1987. At the time of his passing, he was a senior hardware specialist for Entergy Nuclear, James A. Fitzpatrick Station. Of the many things Brian enjoyed during his life, none was more precious to him than spending time with his grandchildren. He loved the outdoors and spent many weekends camping and hunting. Brian was predeceased by his younger brother, Michael Prosser, in 1999. Brian will forever be dearly missed by his wife Joyce; his daughter Kelly and her husband Eric Schmidt of Fulton; his son Scott Prosser and his wife Susan of Fulton; his beloved grandchildren, whom he adored: Brittany, Taylor, Derek and Miranda; his brothers: David Prosser and his wife Norma of Fairport, NY, and Dennis Prosser and his wife Cathy of Walworth, NY; his sisters, Sheila Prosser of Phoenix, AZ, and Sharon Justice of Berryville, VA; and many nieces and nephews.
