Harter, 94, of New Woodstock, passed away Tuesday at his home. He was born in Perryville and had operated a dairy farm in New Woodstock most of his life. He retired from the maintenance department at SUNY Morrisville. Mr. Harter always valued the land that he worked. He was a member of the Grange and enjoyed bowling, square dancing, and golfing. He was predeceased by his first wife Mary in 1964. Wilson, Robert Douglas May 12, 2005 Robert Douglas Wilson, 81, of Jamesville, died Thursday at Veteran's Medical Center. Born in Nova Scotia, he had lived in the Syracuse area since 1929. An Army veteran, he served as a medic during WW II. He was Past Post Commander (1963-64) and a member of VFW Post #6326, Jamesville and a life member of American Legion Post #1468, Syracuse. He retired as a lab technician in 1981 from Alpha Portland Cement Co., Jamesville. He loved camping and gardening. Wisner, Woodrow May 9, 2005 Woodrow "Woody" Wisner, 71, formerly of Chittenango, died Monday at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center in Wilmington, NC as a result of complications of a neurological disease. Woody was born February 14, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Jay Edward and Alta Wisner. He resided in Chittenango most of his life moving to Wilmington, NC six years ago. Prior to retirement, he was the owner of Wisner Welding and Fabricating business for over 30 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the William Cain American Legion Post 1287 in Chittenango. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, JoAnn Wisner; two daughters, Catherine (Steve) Elmore of E. Syracuse and Janece (Jim) Stone of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Alex, Aaron and Austin Elmore and Katie, Natalie and Ryan Stone; a sister, Ida Flessas of Syracuse; and mother-in-law, Edith Hopke and stepfather-in-law, Herb Hopke.
