A native of Pennsylvania, he resided in the Syracuse area for many years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WWII and served in the First Marine Division as a scout and a sniper. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the carpenters union and worked on various projects, including the Carrier Dome, the School of Forestry at SU and in the Syracuse School District. Mr. Buza enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid gardener and outdoorsman. He was known for his garlic and honey and was a member of the Beekeepers. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Theresa Buza, and three brothers: Clifford, Edward and John Buza. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Gloria Sears Buza; children: Christine Fanto of Liverpool, Robert (Diana) Buza of Fabius and Richard (Michelle) Buza of Cicero; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Ralph enjoyed spending his winters in Florida, and his summers in Cape Cod and Central New York. White, 75, of Baldwinsville, died Wednesday at the Veterans Medical Center, Syracuse. He was born in Edwardsburg, Ontario, Canada and had lived in the Baldwinsville area for 30 years. Elden was a career Army Veteran who served two Tours of Duty both in Korea and Vietnam. He was also employed for 14 years at Jardines Bronze and Aluminum Foundry in Baldwinsville and was a past member of the Baldwinsville Moose Lodge #644. Survivors: his wife, Ingeborg Turschner White; one daughter, Alexandra Melendez of Palm Bay, FL; one son, Peter Turschner of Baldwinsville; one brother, Howard Lewis of Syracuse; one granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. Wilkinson, 90, formerly of Lake St., Chittenango, died Monday at the Oneida Extended Care Facility. Born in Clinton, Mr. Wilkinson was a resident of Chittenango 45 years. He retired in 1978 as an electrician with the G.A. Braun Co. in Syracuse. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII serving as an airplane mechanic. He was a member of the Chittenango United Methodist Church and a past member of the Sullivan Lodge F&AM. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Sylvia L. of Fayetteville; sons, Dean of Oklahoma, Larry of Mexico and Alan Wilkinson of Illinois; stepsons, Gregory Edwards of Oneida, Ronald Edwards of California and Duane Leigh of Texas and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. October 3, 2005 Gary W. Wroblewski, 56, of Conway, SC, and previously of Liverpool, passed away Monday at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC. Born in Syracuse, he retired in 2003 from the Town of Salina Highway Dept. Gary was a Vietnam veteran, member and past Commander for both the VFW Post 3146 and the American Legion Mattydale Post 1832. He was loving son, dad and grandfather. Gary is survived by a son, Edward J. Wroblewski of Brewerton; two daughters, Judith L. Rabil of Winston-Salem, NC, Rebecca Lynn Wroblewski of Baldwinsville; his parents, William Wroblewski and Mary Alcaro Wroblewski; two brothers, Thomas E. of Algonac, MI, James E. of Liverpool; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
