She retired in 1971 from Killian Manufacturing, was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church, a member of the East Syracuse Seniors and liked animals and bowling. She is survived by her niece, Elizabeth Zacharek of Fremont; nephew, Raymond Ball of Marcellus; and several great-nieces and -nephews. Unquestionably, his most endearing qualities, and what he will be remembered most for, are his kindness and compassion and his respectful, generous and helpful nature that he showed toward everyone he met. Cashier, 83, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday in St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, was a WW II veteran of the U.S. Army and was a three-time Purple Heart recipient. He was a communicant of St. Daniel's Church and a member of the Purple Heart Association, Disabled American Veterans Chapter NY-8, U.S. Postal Union and longtime volunteer for the Veterans Administration. Armand was a trolley car operator and bus driver for the New York Department Transportation System in the Bronx, NY, and was also employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a truck driver in Syracuse for over 30 years before retiring. Harris, 72, of Baldwinsville, and formerly of Ogdensburg, died Friday. Mrs. Harris was born January 3, 1933, in Sunset Beach, CA, the daughter of the late Robert Earl and Una Mae (Cochrane) Bound. She graduated from Mater Dei Col-lege and Potsdam State. She married Dr. Warren Harris June 16, 1965, in Las Vegas. The couple celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in June of this year. Mrs. Harris enjoyed sewing and crafts, and raised and showed collies for several years in addition to enjoying several other animal species. She also expressed great interest in scientific research. She was a published author in both the Portland Oregonian and Mater Dei's Immaculatan. She owned and operated The Outlook men's clothing store in Canton, NY, from 1978 to 1983 and worked as an electrocardiographic (ECG) and electroencephalographic (EEG) technician in California and at St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center. She also earned the title of Honor Queen of Job's Daughters as a young girl. McCloat, 66, of Mattydale, passed away on Friday with his family by his side. Born in Jamaica, NY, to Thomas and Mary McCloat, Thomas grew up in Woodmere, Long Island, and graduated from Hewlette High School. From there, Thomas enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in September 1957 and retired in July 1979. He went on to work as a mail handler for Taft Road Post Office before retiring in August 2001 after 20 years of service. Thomas was a member of St. Margaret's Church, the American Legion in Cicero and Save Hyde Lake Association. Thomas was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. "Bud" September 1, 2005 Clyde L. "Bud" Schmunk Jr., 47, of Cleveland, NY, passed away Thursday at his camp near Wellsville after a sudden heart attack. Born in Syracuse, he was a graduate of Paul V. Moore High School and the NYS Regional Police Academy. Heretired as the former Chief of Police in Jordan and was a longtime member of the Brewerton Fire Department. He served as a park ranger for Onondaga County and as an officer in the Phoenix and town of Cicero police departments. Most recently he was a bus driver for Birnie Bus Service. As a result of the Hotel Frontier fire in 1982, Bud was the recipient of five awards: Oswego County Fireman of the Year, 1982; Onondaga County Fireman of the Year, 1983; Silver Star, Brewerton Fire Department, 1982, 1983; Resolution Honoring Bravery, New York State Legislature, 1983; and Medal of Valor, Onondaga County Chiefs Association, 1982. Born in Canton, CT, she retired from Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. She was a member of the Mottville Firemen's Auxiliary, the Iroquois German Shepard Dog Club and the Seniors of Skaneateles. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Ann Wymbs of Montrose; her son, Paul Addison Tuck of Sante Fe, NM; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold, and son, Gary. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 8 p.m., with services at 8 p.m. at Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, 49 Jordan St., Skaneateles.
