She is survived by her niece, Elizabeth Zacharek of Fremont; nephew, Raymond Ball of Marcellus; and several great-nieces and -nephews. As a very involved member of the Jewish community, Mrs. Bloom took an active philanthropic role in many organizations to help others. She was predeceased in 1995 by her husband, Jack. Boyke, 74, of Cicero, died Sunday, September 4, 2005, at home. Born in Liverpool, he resided most of his life in Cicero. He worked as a group leader for Crouse Hinds for 45 years, retiring in 1996. Mr. Boyke belonged to the Teamsters Local 2084 IBEW. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. George was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Andrew, and a sister, Marge Weiss. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, the former Joyce Dwyer; a stepson, Eugene Swartout of Chicago; three brothers: Edward of Cicero, William of SC and John of Mexico; two sisters, June Zents of Central Square and Helen Maslak of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews. He was owner and operator of Denton Transportation. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Bridgeport VFW Post 8440 and Arthur Butler American Legion Post 359. He had coached the Cicero Little League and the Magicians American Legion Baseball League. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and bowler. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, the former Judy Landers; three sons: James D. (King) (King) Derouchie September 4, 2005 Donna M. (King) Derouchie, 64, of 6047 State Route 31, died Sunday, September 4, 2005, in Oneida Healthcare Center, where she had been a patient for the past four days, following a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Born in Oneida on July 30, 1941, she was the daughter of Herbert C. and Mable M. Buehner Butler. A lifelong resident of the area, Donna attended Oneida High School. She married Steven. C. Derouchie on May 3, 1986, in St. Joseph's Church, Oneida. Prior to her retirement from Carrier Corporation, with 32 years of service, Donna had previously been employed with General Electric Corporation for over 11 years. She attended St. Joseph's Church. Donna enjoyed NASCAR racing and used to participate in the Utica-Rome Speedway's Power Puff Division. She also loved to camp at Lewis Point, enjoyed music and had a deep love for her grandchildren. She was known to many as "Mom." Surviving besides her husband, Steven, are two daughters and one son-in-law, Shelly M. King and her companion, Deb Dixon, of Durhamville and Cynthia and Robert Gainer Jr. of Oneida; one son, Robert L. King of Oneida; one stepdaughter, Marcia Derouchie of Annapolis, MD; one stepson, Steven L. Derouchie of Mexico; two sisters-in-law, Valarie Nicholson of Plano, TX, and Susan and her husband, Marty Sebastian, of Ogdensburg; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Bruce and Carolyn Derouchie of Brasher Falls and Vincent and Jessentia Derouchie of Dickenson; six grandchildren: Ricky King, Russel King, Rory King, Barbara Mahoney, Danielle Gainer and Robbie Gainer III; one stepgrandson, Charles Derouchie; four great-grandchildren; special friends: Sonya Meacham, Susan and Bill Clark, Justine Mumley and Buzz Delaney; and several nieces and nephews.
