And therefore the last will and testament of the said Margaret Ann Harrower, deceased, were proved with the people thereof and are the following viz, I Margaret Ann Harrower, of the town of DeWitt, in the county of Onondaga do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament, in manner and form following, that is to say First I give and bequeath to my brother Peter W. Harrower the claim which I have against him for $121.50 dollars and which is secured by a mortgage to myself and my sister Euphemia, and I hereby authorize and direct my executrix herein after named to satifiy and discharge said mortgage so my interest therein extends. Second: I give, and device and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, to my sister Euphemia Harrower, her heirs and assigns forever, subject however to the payment of all my debts and funeral charges - Third: I hereby constitute and appoint my said sister Euphemia sole executrix of this my last will and testament with full power and authority to sell and convey my said real estate. And I hereby revoke all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 18th day of January A. D. 1847 Margaret A. Harrower L.S. Signed sealed, published and declared by the said testatrix on and for her last will and testment, in the presence, who at her requst and in her presence and in the presence of each other , have subscribed our names hereto as attesting witnesses. Alson Gates, DeWitt Ebenezer J Ward, DeWitt Onondaga Surrogate Court In the matter of proving the last will and testament of Margaret Ann Harrower , deceased Onondaga county, NY; Alson Gates of the town of DeWitt in the county of Onondaga, being duly sworn and examined, doth depose and say, that he, this deponent, was with acquainted with Margaret Ann Harrower, late of the town of DeWitt, in the county of Onondaga, deceased - That this deponent was present as a witness and did see the said Margaret Ann Harrower subscribe at the end thereof, the insturment now produced and shown to this deponent perporting to be the last will and testament of the said deceased, bearing date the 18th day of January A.D. 1847 - That the said testatrix at the same time declares the insturment so subscribed by her to be her last will and testament. That therefore this deponent and Ebenezer J. Ward subscribed their names at the end thereof as witnesses thereto, at the request of the testatrix, in her presense, and that the said testatrix, at the time of sound mind and memory, not under restraint, and was in all respects competent to make a last will and testament. Alson Gates Sworn this 15th day of January 1848, before me Isaac T. Manard, Surrogate Onondaga Surrogate Court In the matter of proving the last will and testament of Margaret Ann Harrower, deceased. Onondaga County, N. Y; Ebenezer J Ward, of the town of Salina, in the county of Onondaga, being duly sworn deponent was well acquainted with Margaret Ann Harrower, late of the town of DeWitt, in the county of Onondaga, deceased. That this deponent was present as a witness and did see the said Margaret Ann Harrower subscribe at the end thereof the instrurment now produced and shown to this deponent, purporting to be the last will and testament of the said deceased, bearing the date the 18th day of January A.D. 1847 - That the said testatrix at the same time declared the insterment so subscribed by her to be her last will and testament. That thereupon this deponent and Alson Gates did subscribe their names at the end thereof as witnesses thereto at the request of the testatrix in her presence; and that the said testatrix at the time of executing and publishing the said last will and testament was of full age and of sound mind and memory, not under restraint, and was in all respects competent to make a last will and testament Sworn this 15th day of January 1848, before me Isaac T Minard, Surrogate Onondaga County Surrogate Office NY; Recorded the preceding last will and testament of Margaret Ann Harrower, deceased, as a will of real and personal estate, together with the proofs thereof taken and had in the court of the Surrogate of the county of Onondaga, which record is hereby signed and certified by me, pursuant to the provisions of the Revised Statutes. this 15th day of January A.D. 1848
