Record of Gertrude Fosmire's will

I Gertrude Fosmire of the town of Gorham, County of Ontario, State of New York
do hereby make , publish and declare this to be my last will  and testament in
manner as follows: that is to say, after  paying my debts & funeral expenses, 

First, I hereby give and bequeath to David A Southerland the sum of one
hundred dollars, 

Second, I hereby give and bequeath to Charlotte wife of David A Southerland
the sum of one hundred dollars, 

Third, I hereby give and bequeath to my niece the wife of  William Fosmire,
Edna Fosmire, my gold watch and my African Shawl or my best Shawl, 

Fourth, I hereby give and bequeath to my sister Sarah my gold spectacles. 
Fifth, I hereby give and bequeath to my nephew William Fosmire the residue and
remainder of my estate whatsoever kind.  

Sixth and lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my friend David A.
Southerland to be my sole Executor of this my last will  and testament hereby
revoking all former wills by me made. 

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty-seventh
day of March One thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven

The above instrument  was at the date thereof signed sealed published and
declared  by the said Gertrude Fosmire as for the Last  will and testament in
our presence in the presence of each other as witness  of the above  we have
hereunto subscribed our names.
