To all to whom there present shall come or may concern send greeting, know ye that at the town of Canandaigua in the county of Ontario on the third day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, before Eliphatih Taylor Esquire Surrogate of our said county the last will and testament of Giles Hubbard deceased a copy whereof is hereunto annexed was proved and is now approved and allowed of by us- and the said deceased having while he lived and at the time of his death goods chattels or credits within this state, by means whereof the proving and registering the said will and the granting administration of all and singular the said goods chattels heredity and also the auditing allowing and final discharging the account thereof doth belong unto us-the administration of all and sign the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased and any way concerning his will is granted unto Ruth Hubbard Executrix in the said will named hereby requiring you to make and exhibit a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the said goods chattels and credits and also to under a just and true account thereof when there unto required -In Testimony whereof we have caused the seal of office of our said Surrogate to be hereunto affixed---Witness Eliphatih Taylor Esquire Surrogate of the said county at the town of Canandarqua afore said the third day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred thirteen and of our Independence the thirty seven. I Giles Hubbard of Geneseo in the County of Ontario and state of New York being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manor and form following with I give and bequeath to my son Solomon Hubbard & my son Jehosaphet Hubbard and Giles Hubbard and Joseph Hubbard & Samuel Hubbard & Aristorhus Hubbard and Erastus Hubbard twenty acres of land each & after the above named sons have received their twenty acres each, then the remainder of the land to be divided in nine equal parts among the above named sons and their two sisters Rebecah and Marah Hubbard after paying all debts all book debts and obligations and two horses to pay debts, I give and bequeath to my sons Jehosaphet and Joseph Hubbard all my carpenters tool except the tenant saw, all the rest of my goods and chattels I give and bequeath to my dear beloved wife Ruth Hubbard whom I nominate constitute and appoint sole executrix of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wills former wills by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto lot my hand and seal this thirteenth day of February of the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen.
