Record of Reuel Rogers Will

I Reuel Rogers of the Town of Canandaigua in the County of Ontario and State
of New York of the age of seventy one years and being of sound mind and
memory, do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner
following, that is to say, First, I give and bequeath to my daughter Lucy
Doolittle the sum of $200, Two Hundred Dollars.  To my grand children,
Almeron, Sarah, Newton Rogers $200, Two Hundred Dollars.  To my son Henry
Rogers $800 Eight Hundred Dollars.  To my daughter Esther Reed $500 Five
hundred Dollars.  To my daughter Submit Brown $500 Five Hundred Dollars. To my
sons Newton & Richard Rogers each $5, Five Dollars.  Second, I give and
bequest the use of all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate
goods and chattels of what nature or kindsoever to my wife Sally Rogers during
her natural life and then to be divided equally between my natural heirs, and
Lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Newton Rogers to be the
Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills
by me made.  

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Tenth day of May
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

The above instrument consisting of one sheet was at the date thereof signed, 
sealed, published and declared by the said Reuel Rogers as and for his last
Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his
presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as
witnesses.  [Therile]

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of the last will and 
testament of Reuel Rogers, deceased. Proved before me.  Recorded and compared 
this 5th day of July A.D. 1870
