Beginning the middle of the road that leads from John McGarrahs Mill to the Lower clove in the said town from thence Westerly one degree west eight chains 30 links to Josiah Seeley's land, thence South 45 degrees west 2 chains and 30 links along the line of Seeley line thence South 20 degrees East 7 chains and 60 links to the middle of said rode thence along said road 2 chains and 30 links to the place of beginning containing 2 acres be the same more or less. Together with all the profits of the above described premises if the said two hundred dollars is payd and ? of it all at the end of One Years if not the Bargain is erased and of no effect otherwise to stand in full force. In Witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this 30 day of March 1821. Hophni Smith Witness present Henry Clark Be it unemcumbered that on the sixteenth day of February 1825 came before me John McGarrah one of the Commissioners for Orange County, Henry Clark one of the subscribing witnesses to the within deed to me known who being duly sworn says that he saw the within named Hophni Smith sign seal and deliver the said deed which is to me satisfactory evidence of the said fact and the said Henry clark further in his oath aforesaid says that he at the time of the Executioon of the said deed signed his name thereto as a witness.
