She was in her 52nd year. Born in Cedarcliffe, November 28, 1890, Mrs Lewis was the daughter of Charlotte Wilklow Baxter, Marlborough and the late Grant Baxter. She had lived for many years in Highland Falls but for the past four years had resided in Fort Montgomery. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the HS Tuthill and Son funeral home, Marlborough. The Rev Mr A Van de Beak Vos, rector of Christ church will conduct services Friday afternoon and internment will be made in Christ church cemetery. Surviving besides her husband and mother is one brother Walter H Baxter, Marlborough. Additional Comments: Louella Baxter Lewis had been previously married to John Charles Greatorex who died in 1919. Louella subsequently later that year married a William Lewis. Whether William and the Clarence Lewis mentioned above are one and the same person I am not sure. I believe they are 2 different people but cannot prove it. What is know is that she had 3 children by JC Greatorex, one son, Carl died in 1918 and is buried in Christ church Episcopal next to his mother. The 2 other children are unaccounted for. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. NB: In a later edition of the paper a list of floral tributes is given. One is to "Mom" from "Billie". That is all the info I have.
