News of the Highlands - 25th March 1927

Mrs Thomas Regan , aged 49 years died at her late residence on Prospect Hill
at 5 o'clock on Sunday afternoon after a short illness from pneumonia. She is 
survived by her husband and 2 sons, James and George and by 2 sisters and one 
brother. Mrs Joseph Volkringer of this village, Mrs Elizabeth Mulvahill of New 
Jersey and Walter Goeterex (GREATOREX). The funeral occurred from the Church
of the Sacred Heart on Wednesday and was attended by a large number of
sorrowing friends. Internment was in the family plot in Peacedale Cemetery

Lavinia Regan nee Greatorex born August 2nd 1877 in Bath Street, Sheffield, 
England. Came to the USA with her parents sometime in the mid 1880's and 
settled in Highland Falls, Orange Co, NY. Married Thomas Regan at unknown
date.
