The son of the late Amedeo and Alessandrina Simone Bruni, he was born March 31, 1926 in Colli, Italy. Survivors include his wife, Elena Proia Bruni; his children: Valerio Bruni and his wife, Concettina, Maria Bruni and Amedeo Bruni and his wife, Joy, all of Middletown; and his granddaughters, Elena and Nicole. He is also survived by his brothers: Italo, Antonio and Fernando; and his sisters: Giovannina, Teresa and Anna; as well as many nieces and nephews. Dagen, 93, of East Greenbush, formerly of Watervliet, died Saturday April 2, 2005 at Evergreen Commons after a long illness. He was the widower of Gertrude Dagen. Born and educated in Watervliet, he was the son of the late John and Sarah Dagen. Mr. Dagen lived in Latham for several years, returning to Watervliet in 1947 and residing there until his move to Troy in 1995. Mr. Dagen was employed as a mason with the Lennon's Construction Company, Watervliet, and Harrington & Dagen Masonry, later working out of the local union for Sweet Construction of Schenectady. He was a member for over 50 years of the Troy Salvation Army Temple and League of Mercy secretary. He was also a member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftsmen, Local #2 in Albany. Survivors include two daughters, Helen Dagen Corina, his caregiver for the past 25 years, of Watervliet, and Lillian (Richard) Dumond of Middletown; a son, Maj. Raymond D. (Norma) Dagen, Salvation Army Ret., of New Port Richey, Fla.; a sister, Sarah Sponton of Tampa, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was 95. The daughter of the late Gabriel and Angelina Perna, she was born September 13, 1909 in Highland Falls, NY. She married Attilio "Rudy" DiNitto on February 1, 1931. During the 1940's Mrs. DiNitto was recording secretary for the Hudson Valley Chapter of the N.Y. State Mobile Home Association. She was partners with her husband in Rudy's Mobile Home Courts, Rudy Aluminum Sales and Service, and rental properties. William John Gibbons, 59, of Stafford Springs, Conn. and formerly of New Paltz, passed away peacefully in Enfield, Conn. on Thursday March 31, 2005, after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on March 29, 1946, he was the oldest son of William and Marion Gibbons. He was a Director of Employee Relations for Boston Markets in Chicago, Ill. He graduated from New Paltz Central High School, Class of '64, and from Rochester Institute of Technology. He then served in the U.S. Army. His hobbies included woodworking, boating and fishing. He was also a member of St. Edwards R.C. Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Paula of Stafford Springs, Conn.; two sons, Colin P. Gibbons of Naperville, Ill., and Staff Sergeant Josh A. Price, Barbara May Barbara May Price, a longtime resident of the area, died at the Orange County Residential Healthcare Facility on Thursday March 31, 2005, after a long illness. She was 69 years of age. Barbara was the daughter of the late William C. Price Sr. and Adelaide G. Price, formerly of Campbell Hall, N.Y. and Chester, N.Y. Barbara was born on March 28, 1936 in New Rochelle, N.Y., and moved with her family to Orange County in 1947. Barbara is survived by two brothers, William C. Price Jr. and his wife, Janet, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Richard E. Price and his wife, Diane, of Middletown, N.Y., as well as several nieces and nephews. Barbara was an accomplished seamstress and also made handcrafted dolls, which she generously gifted to friends and family. She led an uncomplicated life and enjoyed the pleasures of her skillfully executed crafts. "Everyone in the family probably has at least one of Barbara's dolls or crocheted afghans." For the past several years, Barbara was a resident of the Orange County Residential Healthcare Facility in Goshen, N.Y., where she received the care, love and attention of the staff of doctors, nurses and other care providers at this facility. The family is very grateful for the care and compassion provided by this facility. A private service in Barbara's memory will be conducted at the convenience of the family. He was born June 23, 1918 in Otisville, N.Y., the son of the late LeRoy G. and the late Edna C. Smith Runnalls. He was a member of the Otisville-Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church; Otisville Grange; Pomono Grange; State and National Grange; Town of Mt. Hope Republican Club; Director in the Orange County Agriculture Society; former Maryor of Otisville; former Assessor of the Town of Mt. Hope; co-founder of the Mt. Hope Little League and a charter member and founding father of the Mt. Hope Ambulance Corp. He is survived by his wife, Doris Osterdahl Runnalls; two sons, R. Eric Runnalls and Lee Arthur Runnalls and his wife, Liz, of Otisville; a sister, Eleanor Poole of Hackettstown, N.J.; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Published in the Times Herald-Record on 4/3/2005. Sendrakowski Sr., Stanley L. Stanley L. Sendrakowski, Sr., 85, died on March 30, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Baltimore, Md. on February 28, 1920, he was the son of the late Leopold and Mary Nierzejewski Sendrakowski. In 1926, Stanley and his mother moved to the area to live with his grandparents after the death of his father. He was educated in the Watervliet School District and graduated from Watervliet High in 1938. After graduation Stanley enlisted in the U.S. Army in July 1938. He served in the Aleutian Islands and was awarded the American Defense Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged in July of 1945. On November 30, 1944, in Schenectady, N.Y., he married his loving wife of the past 60 years, Helen Famiano Sendrakowski. He was employed as a welder at the Watervliet Arsenal for 27 years, retiring in 1975. He was a certified teacher at Saratoga BOCES from 1975-1978 and the Albany City School District from 1978-1992. He was a member of the American Welding Society and liked gardening in his free time. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his loving children: Rodricia (Paul) Marchitell of Newburgh, Susan Cafaro and her fianc‚, Charles Z. Nagy, of Middlesex, N.J. and Stanley Jr. (Suzanne) Sendrakowski of Atlanta, Ga.; his grandchildren, Sharon Marchitell and her fianc‚, Charles Serra, and Erik (Farrah) Marchitell. Weis, Reuben Reuben Weis, a longtime resident of Loch Sheldrake, died April 2, 2005. He was 86. Reuben was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on June 29, 1918, the twelfth child of Sarah (Seelenfreund) Weis. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Sarah Weis. Reuben was a former member of the Rose Valley Seniors Program, until he decided to fully retire a few years ago. In a statement made by friends, it was expressed: "Reuben was a caring man, soft spoken with a gentle smile. He shared his love of Elvis with everyone he met. He leaves behind many friends and his family at New Hope Community, and he will be missed."
