Richard F. Angermayer, a retired school teacher from Valley Central Schools, died April 5, 2005 at home. He was 61. The son of Franz J. Angermayer and Anna Wukovits, he was born September 4, 1943 in New York, N.Y. He was a past CCD Director of St. Mary's Church, Lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's Church, member of Knights of Columbus Our Lady of Lourdes Council #5890, member of Valley Central School Teacher's Assoc., New York Federation of Teachers, American Federation of Teachers. Richard was a teacher who cared greatly for his students. He had many interests including camping and boating. He had a love for history. He loved to read and help people. He will be missed by many for his good humor and cheerful conversations. Survivors include his sister, Frances Subach and her husband Robert of Monroe; niece, Kristine Subach and fianc‚ Rick Reynolds; nephews, Joseph Subach and wife Barbara, Robert Subach and wife Lizette; also aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Bauman, an insurance underwriter for Aetna Insurance in New York City, and resident of New Paltz since 1975, died Monday April 4, 2005 at Mountainview Nursing Home, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was 92. The son of the late Frank Bauman and Mary Orchard, he was born August 15, 1912 in Maspeth, N.Y. He was an avid collector of John Deere tractor memorabilia who lived in Queens, N.Y., had a summer home in Gardiner since 1963, and eventually moved to New Paltz in 1975. Mr. Bauman served in the U.S. Navy as a radioman, 3rd Class, during World War II. He married Alice Harvey on May 31, 1942 in Brooklyn, N.Y. He is survived by two daughters, Joan Wolf of New Paltz, and Barbara DeWitt of Chesterfield, Va.; one son, Raymond Bauman of Newfield, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice, on April 26, 1990; his sister, Mary Bauman; and one brother, Frank Bauman. A statement by his children reads: "He was a wonderful father and "Pop-Pop". The daughter of the late Phillip Constantino and Benedetta Santora Constantino, she was born November 11, 1914 in Monroe. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Monroe; Catholic Daughters of America, Court Margaret Mary, Monroe; Monroe Jolly Senior Citizens, Monroe. Survivors include her brother, Samuel Constantino and his wife Pat of Wurtsboro; sisters, Mary M. Constantino of Monroe, Philomena A. Doremus, 86, died Tuesday afternoon at The Country Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she had been a resident since January of 2003. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of William and Anna Schlichting Mayers, she grew up in Dumont, N.J. She married James Stanley Doremus on October 28, 1939. She was employed in various secretarial positions, which included being the attendance secretary at East Ramapo Central School in Spring Valley, N.Y. Mr. and Mrs. Doremus retired to the South Jersey Shore in 1978. Mr. Doremus died in 1990. She is survived by her sons and their wives, Richard and Mary, San Diego, Calif., Ronald and Paula, Carthage, N.Y. and Robert and Karen, Middletown, N.Y.; her sisters, Lois Pierce, Plymouth, Massachusetts and Miriam Hawxwell, Ship Bottom, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A graveside committal service will be held in Brick Church Cemetery, Monsey, N.Y. on Saturday, April 9 at 11:30 a.m. There will be no local services. Livanos, Frieda Frieda Livanos, a long time area resident, died Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus. She was 93 years old. The daughter of the late Peter and Panoria Kitsakos Mastacouris, Frieda was born on July 23, 1911 in Lowell, Mass. Frieda lived in Otisville for 15 years after moving from Queens, NY. Frieda was a housekeeper for Met Life in New York City for 20 years before her retirement in 1976. She was a parishioner of Holy Spirit Orthodox Church in Sussex, NJ. Frieda is survived by her son, Peter Livanos and his wife Doris of Otisville; one granddaughter, Stephanie Livanos and two sisters, Pauline Mastacouris and Frances Themelis, both of Lowell, MA. Frieda was predeceased by her husband John in 1949 and her son Michael in 1995. Penny, Patricia Ann Conklin Funeral services and burial for Patricia Ann Conklin Penny, 64, of Melbourne, Fla., and formerly of Ogdensburg and Middletown, N.Y., will be held at the convenience of the family at Foxwood Memorial Park in Ogdensburg, 528 Franklin St., Ogdensburg, N.Y. Penny on April 21, 1957 in Middletown, N.Y. with Reverend Donovan officiating. The couple lived in Ogdensburg for several years, where her husband worked for the NYS Department of Corrections. Mr. Penny predeceased her on June 9, 2003. Mrs. Penny was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a volunteer at The Hospice of Tampa, Fla. Robert attended Brownsville Church of the Bretheran in Brownsville, Md., and he was a past treasurer and president of Habitat for Humanity in Loudoun County. Survivors include his wife, Judy L. Born June 10, 1928 in Troy, N.Y., Rose was a life-long resident of Albany until her illness in March of 2002. She was retired from Albany Medical Center where she worked for many years as a food service manager. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Anthony E. Roman Sr. (Eddie) and her parents, Marion and Frank Coogan, and stepfather Charlie Coogan. Survived by her daughter, Christine and son-in-law Kevin O'Connell of Horseheads, N.Y. and granddaughter Bridget (O'Connell) Kurcoba with husband Kris Kurcoba and great-grandson Colin Matthew Kurcoba and great-granddaughter Kiley Elizabeth Kurcoba. Formerly of Stony Point, N.Y. James A. Wilbur, a former Stony Point resident, passed away on Sunday April 3, 2005 in Melbourne Beach, Fla. He was 70 years old. Jim was born on June 21, 1934 in Middletown, N.Y. He was employed as a supervisor for Orange & Rockland Utilities for 39 « years, retiring in 1994. Jim was an avid fisherman and hunter, which he has passed on to his beloved children and grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie; one daughter, Karen and Jan Sarnowski, and granddaughter, Kyla, and grandsons, Gared and Shelby; his three sons: Kevin and Pam, and grandsons, Thomas and Dean; James and Patty; and Jeffrey and Susi, and grandsons, Christopher and Timothy. She loved to farm and garden and enjoyed driving, baking and cooking for all her friends at the Millington Seniors. Mrs. Zober was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Joel Zober; one brother, John Dutkiewicz; and three sisters: Stephanie Kondrath, Anna Pacenzski, and Kathryn Lawson. She is survived by two sons, Stanley Zober of Wyoming, Del., and Joel Zober of Croydon, Pa.; one daughter, Alice R.
