Mr. Kulcsar moved to Clintondale in 1981 and was a member of A.A.R.P. Chapter 975 in New Paltz, N.Y. Paschall, Frederick G. Frederick G. Paschall, formerly of Harriman, NY, Middlehope, NY and most recently Berkeley Springs, WV, entered into peace on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC, surrounded by his large, loving family. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, January 27, 1928 to Agnes Dillon and Frederick O. Paschall. He was a proud, tough ex-marine and equally a gentle soul who brought the word "giving" to new heights. A retired conductor of the Erie Lackawanna/ Conrail Railroad, he labored long hard hours to support his wife Margaret and their nine children. His deep wisdom was only surpassed by his intense compassion for all humankind. He was a devout Catholic who lived what he preached, and though strapped for money, managed to send his children to Parochial school. Fred was vastly talented- he could build or fix anything. He was an artist, a writer, an avid Chess player and crossword fanatic, a hunter, carpenter and Master mechanic. He loved Classical music and opera, nature and the arts and had a passion for cooking. He had a joke for any occasion and knowing him, the first thing he did at the "Golden Gate" was to tell one to St. Peter. Frederick was a fervent defender of the Pro-Life Movement. He was one of the founders of "The Berkeley Springs Pregnant Group," which counseled and helped unwed mothers. He also supported the "West Virginia for Life Group." He was the key writer and president of the Catholic newsletter "Defender of the Faith." Frederick was an ordained Eucharistic Minister of the Roman Catholic Church. He was a past member of Our Lady of Mercy Church of St. Mary's parish in Marlboro, NY 1969-1992 and was currently a member of St. Vincent De Paul Church in Berkeley Springs. He was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus and recently helped found a Catholic radio station, WDTF in West Virginia. He was the original founder of the "Santas Train Ride," which during the holidays, helped handicapped children of New York and New Jersey. Most importantly, he was a loving, devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia Paschall Kiley, who passed on in 1977. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret Sowdon Paschall, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va; his sisters, Helen Mary Paschall of Yonkers, NY and special cousin Agnes M. Shevetone, a lifelong resident of Beacon, entered into rest Thursday,April 14, 2005 at home. He was 85. Son of the late Joseph and Rose Carrozzelli Shevetone, he was born in Beacon on March 1, 1920. He was married in Beacon on September 12, 1948 to the former Lorraine Houghtalin. Mrs. Shevetone preceded him in death on January 14, 2005. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Shevetone was a Correction Officer, retiring from the former Matteawan State Hospital. He later worked as a Security Guard at IBM, East Fishkill. In the late 1940's, he worked on the Newburgh-Beacon Ferry. He was a parishioner of St. Joachim-St. John the Evangelist Church, Beacon, a member of the IBM Retirees and a life member of St. Rocco Society, Beacon. He was an avid New York Yankee and New York Giants fan. Survivors include his children, Frank J. The son of the late Frank and Mary Visconti Tabasco, he was born September 12, 1911 in Newburgh. Joseph's first wife, Virginia Nicoletti Tabasco predeceased him in 1975. In 1977, he married Mary Loretta Siddle Tabasco who predeceased him January 31, 2005. Joe had many friends, was liked by all and was a great story teller. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1941-1945. Survivors include his sister, Carrie Carfora of New Windsor; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Tabasco of Milton and Rose Tabasco of New Windsor; and several nieces and nephews.
