Cassidy, Walter Walter Cassidy, 92, of Milford, Pa., died Sunday August 7, 2005 at Milford Senior Care, Westfall Township, Pa. He was a driver for R.E.A. Express in Manhattan, N.Y. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Dingman's Ferry, Pa.; B.P.O.E. #645, Port Jervis; Golden Age Club; Fleet Reserve Association; Naval Enlisted Reserve Association; Mt. Laurel V.F.W. Post #8612, Milford, Pa.; and the Tilgman-Angle, Smith American Legion Post #851 in Dingman's Ferry, Pa. He was a U.S. Navy, World War II veteran. The son of the late James and Amy (Little) Cassidy, he was born August 11, 1912 in Manhattan, N.Y. He was married to Elsie (Johnson) Cassidy on June 29, 1946 in Bronx, N.Y. Fowler Insurance of Port Jervis, and lifelong resident of the area, died Monday August 8, 2005 at the Milford Senior Care in Milford, Pa. She was 98. Daughter of the late Clarence E. Holly and Ada Ferguson Holly, she was born November 25, 1906 in Port Jervis, N.Y. The widow of Harry B. Casterlin, she was the oldest and longest member of the Drew United Methodist Church in Port Jervis, and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She is survived by her son, Harry B. Casterlin and his wife, Jean P. Casterlin, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two grandchildren, Randy B. Casterlin and his wife, Nancy, and Kim Breault; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Ainsley; and her niece, Betty Fleming of Port Jervis. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond O. Holly. Daly, Rosina Margaret Rosina Margaret Daly, a retired bus monitor at West Point, died Monday, August 8, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh. She was 78. She was born to Vincent and Mary D'Antona Graziano on January 31, 1927 in Highland Falls, N.Y. She was married to Frank A. Daly. Rose is survived by her three children, Frank Daly of Brooklyn, Robert Daly of Newburgh and Regina Stalter of Florida; three grandchildren Jason Daly, Harmony and Damien Stalter; one brother Louie Graziano of Newburgh and two sisters, Jennie Perri of Newburgh and Mary Ledbedder of Florida. DeFrancis (Dottie), 67, a lifelong resident of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2005 in El Mirage, Ariz. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (Mema) and Aunt who will be in our hearts forever. The daughter of Katherine Wares and the late William Wares of Maybrook, N.Y., she was born December 24, 1937 in the Bronx, N.Y. "Rip" Sheeley of Summitville, a lifelong resident of the area, and retired laborer for Local 17 in Newburgh, died August 5, 2005 at his home. He was 81. Son of Fred and Gladys Hornbeck Sheeley, he was born October 4, 1923 in Accord, N.Y. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, and was a former member of Kimble Hose Company in Ellenville. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. Survivors include his loving wife, Iris Lybolt Sheeley, at home; his daughter and caregiver, Joan Kent of Summitville; and several additional children, grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
