He was 72. Son of Harry Beebe, Sr. and Nealie Lewis Beebe, he was born Thursday, May 4, 1933 in Goshen, N.Y. He was an U.S. Air Force veteran and was the previous owner of a ceramics shop in Goshen, N.Y. He is survived by one brother, Jim Beebe of Arizona; and three sisters: Doris Bulaga of Otisville, Ann Sax of Goshen, and Gladys Hunt of Crossville, Tenn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. There will be no visitation. Bordogna, Robert Robert Bordogna, of Pine Bush and Bushkill, Pa., an area resident since 1989, died August 9, 2005 in Bushkill, Pa. He was 61. The son of Samuel Bordogna and Marie Cuno Bordogna, Robert was born on April 2, 1944 in Teaneck, N.J. He was a Government Inspector for the Department of Defense and a former self-employed mechanic. Robert was an Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam. He was awareded the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Bar, and a Sharpshooter Medal. Survivors include his beloved wife, Mary Attardo Bordogna, at home, his loving daughters Theresa Filip of Bushkill, Pa., and Donna Bordogna of Pine Bush, N.Y. as well as several nieces and nephews. Buchanan, Carl Montgomery Carl Montgomery Buchanan, a lifelong resident of the area and retired cable splicer for Verizon Telephone Co. in Port Jervis, N.Y., died Sunday July 24, 2005 at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. He was 74. The son of the late Homer and Lillian E. Smith Buchanan, he was born April 5, 1931 in Matamoras, Pa. Mr. Buchanan was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the National Rifle Association; American Legion in Philadelphia, Pa.; member of the Buxton, Maine Rod & Gun Club; the International Brotherhood Electrical Workers Union; and a member of the Day Lilies Society. A family statement reads: "Carl was an avid gardener, outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending many years at his second home in Hollis, Maine." He is survived by his wife, Loretta M. Koenig Buchanan, at home; one son, Carl Buchanan and his wife, Marie, of Milford, Pa.; one brother, James Buchanan of Matamoras, Pa.; one granddaughter, Tammy Allison and her husband, William; three great-grandchildren: Cody, Taylor and Olivia; and several nieces and nephews. "Bubs" Kolvenbach, a retired switchboard operator for Doctor's Sunnyside Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Port Jervis, N.Y., and lifelong resident of the area, died Tuesday August 9, 2005 at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, N.Y. She was 81. The daughter of the late William and Margaret Tear Bloomer, she was born February 8, 1924 in Port Jervis, N.Y. She was the widow of Herman F. Kolvenbach. Bernice was a faithful volunteer for the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. Her love of family and friends will never be forgotten. Anyone who knew Bernice would have enriched their life simply having her as a friend. She is survived by three sons: Gary Kolvenbach of Accord, N.Y., T.A. She was predeceased by her husband, William Lawrence, her sister Christina Davis, and her brother Michael Mueller. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She had been a member of the Community Church of Wurtsboro (previously known as the Dutch Reformed Church) as well as a member of the church choir. She was also a member of the Avon President's Club.
