The daughter of Richard and Helen Hudson Gazda, she was born October 21, 1967 in Suffern, N.Y. Kathleen was a member of St. Mary's Parish Montgomery, a volunteer at the Montgomery Nursery School. She was also a former den mother in Montgomery and on the Montgomery Elementary School P.T.A. "The family would like to thank all their friends in Montgomery for all their help and concern during this difficult time." Survivors include her husband Shawn R. Bernadino at home; son Christopher S. She was born in Albany, N.Y. March 31, 1918, a daughter of the late Herman and Mary Jane Millspaugh Crans. She resided in New Paltz most of her life. She was the former owner and chef of the DuBois Fort Restaurant in New Paltz until retiring Dec. 31, 1989. Surviving are a brother, C. Edward Crans of New Paltz; a sister, Helen J. Jordan of Hampton, Va.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the George J. She was born July 22,1955 and was raised in Monticello, N.Y. She was the daughter of Sarah (Sue) Finder and the late Charles Finder. Preceding her in death was her sister Patricia West. Survived by her brothers: Gary and his children Charles and Tara, Brian and his daughter Meghan; nieces: Laurie Cos and family, Doreen Ferris and her family; aunts: Mimi, Sandra and Bob Mandelbaum and family. Lifelong friends Debbie, Melinda, and Sondra who have always been like family. Fischer of Newburgh, a retired collection officer with the Bank of New York in Harrison, N.Y., entered into rest on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 in Glens Falls, N.Y. She was 83. Daughter of the late Louis and Amelia Delarose, she was born in Newburgh on May 14, 1922. She was married to the late Frederick H. Fischer. Alice was a faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart and St. Patrick's Churches in Newburgh, and was a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She also loved working for the Cavalari family at the Meadowbrook Lodge for many years. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Frederick L. Fischer and his wife Patricia F. of Slingerlands, N.Y., Dr. John H. Fischer and his wife Kimberly S. of Cornwall, Dr. Michael J. Dr. Robert T. Frankel, a retired optometrist in Beacon and Fishkill, died Nov. 30, 2005 at Lutheran Care Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 88. The son of Max Frankel and Bessie Rubenstein, he was born September 28, 1917 in New York, N.Y. He was a past member of Beacon Hebrew Alliance, past president of Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce and Exchange Club, former chairman of City of Beacon Board of Ed., chairman of Beacon Planning Board, Beacon Commissioner of Accounts, past president of NYS Optometric Assoc. He was a US Army Air Corps Veteran, serving in WW II. He was predeceased by his wife Adelaide Levy Frankel on March 7, 1995. Keppler of Westtown, died on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at his residence. He was 46. Born in Sussex, Mr. Keppler lived in the Sussex County area for most of his life before moving to Westtown. He was employed as a machinist at Ames Robber Corp. in Hamburg, N.J. for 28 years and was also co-owner of D & K Carpentry of Westtown. Kvamme, Sigfred Sigfred Kvamme, a house painter and carpenter and longtime area resident, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh. He was 100. The son of Sivert and Olefine Olsen Kvamme, he was born June 7, 1905 in Bergen, Norway. He was the widower of Gunhild Kvamme and Dagny Kvamme. Survivors include one son, John Kvamme and wife Pat of Wallkill; one granddaughter Karilinn Sommers; two great-grandchildren Lisa and Eric; and nieces and nephews. Latimore, age 69, of Ellenville, died Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Mountainview Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in New Paltz. Mr. Latimore was born in Leibhardt, Accord, N.Y. on May 27, 1936, a son of the late Peter Latimore and Cornelia Lemunyan Hummell. He served in the US Army and was employed by Taylor's Tree Service in Newburgh and later at the Ellenville Scrap yard. His wife Dawn Staples Latimore died January 3, 1996. Surviving are three sons, Charles Latimore of Zephyr Hills, Fla., Peter Latimore also of Florida, Roger Latimore of High Falls; three daughters, Lillian Latimore and Judith Latimore of Kingston and Sarah Robbins of New York; a daughter-in-law, Alexa Latimore of High Falls; three brothers, Maurice Burger of Plant City, Fla., Robert Latimore of Kingston, Charles Hummell of Krumville; a sister Ethel Piltz of Saugerties; other sisters, Nancy, Ruth and Alice; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. He was a past member of the Classical Choral Society and the Halcyon Singers, member and choir singer of the First Presbyterian Church in Washingtonville. The daughter of the late Robert P. and Ethel I. Husch Stewart, she was born October 1, 1954 in Liberty. Frances had been employed in the shelter workshop of the Sullivan County ARC in Monticello. Strinati, Louis Louis Strinati, of Milford, Pa., died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 after a long illness. He was born on March 17, 1920 to the late Giovanna (Belli) and Joseph Strinati. He is survived by his wife Eva; his daughters Jeanette Litts and Diana Baur; sons-in-law Richard Litts and Michael Baur; and grandchildren Jessica Litts and Andrew Litts. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Edelma and Evalyn. Louis served as a technical sergeant in the US Army from 1942 to 1945 with active duty in France and Germany. He headed the reference standards laboratory for the Brooklyn Navy Yard's Metrology and Engineering Center. After the Navy Yard's close in 1966, he accepted a position at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, N.J. as a chief of electronics and nuclear standards. At this point, the family moved from New York City to Milford, Pa. Lou, an avid fisherman and hunter, retired from Picatinny in 1977 to be able to enjoy more time with his family. He came out of retirement to become actively involved with establishing an effective emergency (911) communications system for Pike County. He also championed environmental causes to keep Milford's drinking water safe and clean. In 1992, he was honored for his dedication to the community. Published in the Times Herald-Record on 12/2/2005. Von Ignatius, Walter L. Mr. Walter L. Von Ignatius of Port Jervis died Monday, November 28, 2005 in Matamoras, Pa. He was 82. He was born November 3, 1923 in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., the son of the late Arthur and the late Catherine Walsh Von Ignatius. He was the widower of the late June Shirley Von Ignatius. They were married June 28, 1947 and were wed for 53 years prior to her death in January of 2001. He retired in 1989 from the Port Jervis Housing Authority, Port Jervis, where he served as Executive Director. Walter also proudly served his Country in the United States Navy during World War II on a PT Boat in Squadron 30. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Port Jervis where he served as a Church Elder. Walter was a 1963 Graduate of Orange County Community College. In the 1980 s he won the Federal Energy Efficiency Award for his exceptional work at the Port Jervis Housing Authority. This award was one of only two given out nationwide to local agencies at that time. A family statement read: "Walter loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was very proud of his service to his country in World War II and loved to attend his PT Boaters reunions that were held around the country yearly. He also proudly served his church for many, many years. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him." Surviving are son: Walter L. "Terry" Von Ignatius of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; daughter: Sharon A.
