Bell of Plant City, Fla., passed away Friday, December 17, 2005 in Tampa, Fla. Born December 27, 1952 in Passaic, N.J., he co-founded the Florida Gulf Coast Couples organization for gays and lesbians in 1997 along with Bruce Slepian. His favorite pastimes included playing his baby grand piano and attending theatre. He leaves behind his longtime partner in life, Bruce Slepian; children: Andrew and Sara Bell, Stephanie Slepian and Mitchell Slepian; parents, William and Norma Bell of Weston, Fla.; and brothers, Mark Bell of Newburgh and David Bell of Cornwall-On-Hudson. Services were held on December 20, 2005 at the Jewish Memorial Chapel in Clifton, N.J., with burial at King Solomon Memorial Park. Nathan Eugene Brinson, 44, of Washington, D.C., formerly of New Hampton, passed away on December 21, 2005 at George Washington Memorial Hospital. Nathan was the son of Irene Brinson Page of New Hampton and the late Charles Brinson, he was born October 20, 1961. He was a 1979 graduate of Goshen Central High. Nathan enjoyed drawing and artwork. He pursued a career in the food service industry. A family statement reads: "Nathan will be remembered by all for his good nature and kind heart." He is survived by four brothers: Tyrone and Bruce Brinson of San Antonio, Texas, Thomas Brinson of Chicago, Ill., and Anthony Page of Syracuse, N.Y.; three sisters: Charlotte Ann Green of Oakland, Calif., Barbara Morton of Monticello, N.Y., and Priscilla Page of Middletown, N.Y.; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Lorraine Marbley of Maryland and a brother, John Price of New Hampton. Cremation will take place in Washington, D.C. at W.H. Bacon Funeral Home, Inc. Duperreault died peacefully at the Castle Point VA Nursing Home Unit B-2 on December 20, 2005 surrounded by loving family and caring staff. The son of the late MaryJane Neely and Adolphus Duperreault born August 15, 1920 along with his twin sister in Baltimore, Md. August 1945, he married Margaret Cooke at the Monroe Street Church in Baltimore, Md. who passed away Sept. 1991 with whom he had four daughters, Margaret Fiorino, Ellicott City, Md., Melvina Loudermilk, Windemere, Fla. who died in 1998, Judith Parlier, Ellicott City, Md. and Carole J. Hasbrouck, Highland, N.Y. along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister, Julia Richards of N. Kingston, R.I. He was predeceased by twin sister, Jane Fleming in 2003 and is survived by his only brother Maurice Duperreault of West Springfield, Mass. He retired in the security dept. of Westinghouse Aeronautics after many years and was a United States Marshall. Mr. Duperreault was a WW II veteran. He was in the First Infantry Division of the Army more commonly known as the "Big Red 1" second to none. During his service time he fought in North Africa and the European Conflict. Captured by the Germans, he was placed in an Italian POW Camp. He received the Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge and the French Prot‚g‚ Medal. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed the outdoors and loved his family and those who were less fortunate. He was a brilliant man and spoke several languages. Felske of Roscoe, died on Tuesday December 20, 2005 at Mary Immogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown. She was 93. Elsie was born in White Sulphur Springs, N.Y. on May 30, 1912 to the late Arthur and Florence Bull La Polt. She was the widow of Albert Felske. Elsie had taken teacher training at Delhi State University and taught at the former Russell Brook School in the Town of Colchester. She had also worked from 1937-1950 as a forelady in an assembly plant, and then from 1950-1958 as a waitress in a local restaurant in Liberty, N.Y., and also at the Miss Monticello Diner in Monticello. She attended the Roscoe Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one sister, Evelyn Crumley of Kenai, Alaska; a close friend, Glenda Wensley of Wallkill, N.Y.; one special nephew, Robert Felske and wife, Muriel, of Sidney, N.Y.; and special nieces, Grace Engard and husband, Harold, and June Filo and husband, Matt, both of Binghamton, N.Y. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Arthur Crumley; five brothers: Arthur, Maurice, Gerald, John and Wilbur La Polt; and one sister, Florence Aumick. Published in the Times Herald-Record on 12/24/2005. Holahan, Joseph Patrick Joseph Patrick Holahan, a resident of Pearl River, N.Y. for 44 years, died Friday, December 23, 2005 at Nyack Hospital. He was 76. Mr. Holahan was a Police Officer with the NYPD for over 21 years in the 34th Precinct, before retiring in 1974. He was a member of the NYPD Honor Legion; a recipient of the Medal of Valor; and was a member of the 1013 Club. He was also a retired Assistant Chief of Security for Ramapo College, Mahwah, N.J., retiring in 1995. Mr. Holahan was born March 7, 1929 in Yonkers, N.Y. to Thomas and Nellie Holahan. Mr. Holahan served in the United States Army from 1950 until 1952. He was a former Nanuet Little League coach. He loved his God, Family and Friends and will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Eileen; son, Joseph G. Holahan and his wife, Pam, of Chester, N.Y.; grandchildren: Brian and Caitlin; and many nieces and nephews. Libolt, a lifelong resident of the area, entered into rest at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown on December 23, 2005. He was 36. The son of Keith (Bucky) and Lorraine Jannotti Libolt, he was born in Newburgh on December 10, 1969. He was a member of Kermit the Frog International Fan Club. Survivors include his loving parents at home; one brother, Keith Libolt and wife Donna of New Paltz; his maternal grandmother, Constance Jannotti of Newburgh; niece, Kaylyn Libolt; nephew Keith Libolt. Kirt was predeceased by one brother, Brian Libolt as well as his maternal grandfather, Phillip Jannotti and paternal grandparents, Jesse and Mildred Libolt. A service for family and friends will be celebrated on Monday, December 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Full Gospel Rock Church, Rt 9W, Highland, N.Y. Meyer, Muriel Muriel Meyer, a homemaker and lifelong resident of Matamoras, Pa., died Thursday, December 22, 2005 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, N.Y. She was 91. A daughter of the late Lyall and Rissa Spangenberg Schaffer, she was born August 13, 1914 in Port Jervis, N.Y. She was the widow of John P. Meyer, who passed away on August 22, 1994. She is survived by one son, John Meyer and his wife, Patricia, of Matamoras, Pa.; one daughter, Carol Warren and her husband, Charles, of Billerica, Mass.; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Mucherson Sr., John Mr. John Edward Mucherson Sr., a former 50-plus year resident of Monticello, N.Y., affectionately know as "No Talk", 80, of 220 Marajo Ct., Winston-Salem, died at Forsyth Medical Center, on Tuesday, December 20, 2005. He was born in Pender County, on November 25, 1925, and was the son of the late Paul Mucherson and Johnnie Mae Crenshaw. He was married to Nellie Jane Stockton Mucherson. He was also preceded in death by a son,Nathaniel Paul Ruffin and his aunt, Etta Mae Crenshaw. He attended the Pender County Schools and was a member of Greater Faith Deliverance Center, Winston-Salem. He was also a member of the Laborer's International Union of North America Local #17. Survivors include two sons, Donald Stockton of Norfolk, Va., and John Mucherson Jr., of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Cheryl (Leonard) Boggan and Debbie (Steven) Phillips, both of Winston-Salem; nine grandchildren, Shannon Stockton, Shire Mucherson, Steven Phillips, Jr., Asia Boggan, Jerry Houpe II, Dwight Houpe, Darius Mucherson and Anna Boggan; one great-grandson, Jalen Stockton; three brothers-in-law, Henry (Opal) Stockton and Issac Stockton, both of Statesville and Clarence (Shirley) Stockton of Lumberton; his sister-in-law, Lucille McNeely of Statesville; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, including a devoted cousin, Hazel Williams of Monticello, N.Y., other relatives and friends, including a devoted friend, Henry Knight of Monticello, N.Y. She is survived by a daughter, Judith Kelly and her husband, James, of State College, Pa.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one nephew. Rick was born April 23, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Maxie and Mary Poye. An outstanding carpenter, he enjoyed motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and two "babies". He loved the Lord and studying scriptures. He was a very loving father, brother, son and friend.
