Margaret M. Barker, of Ellenton, Fla., longtime resident of Highland Falls, entered into rest on January 28, 2005 at her home. Born May 1, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pa., to Albert and Helene Glaesser. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Edward A. Barker; two daughters, Carolyn Brucher of Harris, N.Y. and Susan Secor of Durham, N.C.; a son, Jeff Barker of Las Vegas, Nev.; and eight grandchildren. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of the Highlands. Marge worked at the Hub Market and later retired from the Marine Midland Bank. Services will be held at Mansion Memorial Funeral Home, Ellenton, Fla. with inurnment at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. Davidson, Wilfred Romaine "Bill" Wilfred (Bill) Romaine Davidson, of Newburgh, entered the Kingdom of our Lord on Monday, January 31, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was 91. Son of the late William and Clara Burton Davidson, he was born February 15, 1913 in Cornwall. Bill retired from the Nabisco Corporation in Beacon, N.Y. after 45 years of service as a printing pressman. He was a member of the Newburgh Bowling Association Hall of Fame. A family statement reads, "Winnie lived a productive and happy life. He will be greatly missed." Bill is survived by his daughter, Dorothy Davidson at home; his son Jack Davidson and his wife Angela of New Windsor; his granddaughters, Jessica Davidson and Stacy Davidson Vanderee of New Windsor; his great-grandsons, Brian, Matthew and Tyler Vanderee of New Windsor. Hait, Doris Arnoys Doris Arnoys Hait, 88 years of age, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2005 in Elant at Goshen after a brief illness. She was born on April 9, 1916 to the late Joseph H. and Nellie Arnoys Hait in Middletown, N.Y. Doris was a lifelong resident of Middletown and was a 1934 graduate of Middletown High School and a 1938 graduate of Beaver College in Glenside, Pa. Doris was a retired teacher from the enlarged City of Middletown School District. She was active in many civic organizations and a member of the First Congregational Church in Middletown for over 70 years. Doris had no survivors. A graveside service will be scheduled in the spring at the Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg, N.Y. Notice of the service will be announced at that time. Higgins, of Montgomery, N.Y., a retired foreman for Con Edison in New York City and a 6-year resident of the area, died January 31, 2005 in Montgomery. He was 80. The son of the late John and Margaret Foley Higgins, he was born July 14, 1924 in New York City. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of St. Mary's Parish, Montgomery. He was the widower of Margaret Cullie Higgins. Survivors include his daughter, Margaret Adams and husband Christopher of Westbrookville; son, John Higgins and wife Nancy of Scotchtown; daughter, Mary Casamassimo and husband Michael of Montgomery; grandsons, Derek and Michael; granddaughters, Brittany, Jennifer, Kristen, Elizabeth; brothers, William Higgins and George Higgins both of Astoria; and nieces and nephews. Kelly, Nancy Nahm Nancy Nahm Kelly, age 80, a retired educational and human services counselor, died at Lakeside, OH on January 30, 2005. Nancy Kelly, daughter of Emily Crawford and Ernest Rudolph Forthoffer of Middletown, NY, was a graduate of Wellesley College and the Harvard-Radcliff Management Program. After marrying Robert Nahm in 1948 she returned to Middletown to raise a family and served as an administrator in the New York State Community College System for almost 20 years. She earned the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Administrative Services, the highest award in her field. Nancy was a charter member of the original Middletown Housing Authority and active in the Webb Horton Presbyterian Church. After leaving New York, Nancy continued to use her many talents to enrich the lives of others by serving as an employment and training counselor with the Job Training Administrator, Blackhawk County, Iowa. She and her second husband, Donald Kelly, retired to Lakeside, OH in 1989. Nancy was active in the Lakeside Association, Firelands Presbyterian Church, the Black Swamp Bird Sanctuary and other community organizations. Nancy and Don moved to North Shore Otterbein in 2002, where Nancy continued her interests in developing a strong community and staff. She was twice recognized as Philanthropist of the Year at Northshore. Survivors include her second husband, Donald A. Kelly of Lakeside-Marblehead, OH; her brother, Frank R. (Mary) Forthoffer of Middletown, NY; two children from her first marriage, Robert E. (Janice) Nahm Jr. of Westlake Village, CA. and Margaret (Karl) Nahm Schneider of Arlington, VA and three granddaughters: Heather Lynne Nahm, Allison Jean Nahm and Gretchen Nahm Schneider. Knapp, 87, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005 at Lutheran Care Center. Mrs. Knapp was employed at Shirley's Catering and retired in 1980 from IBM Poughkeepsie in the Housekeeping Services Department after many years of service. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Poughkeepsie. Anna enjoyed baking, canning and gardening. Born Nov. 10, 1917 in Florida, N.Y., she was the daughter of Joseph and Rosalie Rutkowski Shuback. On Oct. 27, 1940 in St. Joseph's Church, Florida, N.Y., she married Albert J. Knapp. Mr. Knapp survives at home. She was a graduate of New Paltz State Teacher's College, a 65-year member of the Wallkill Reformed Church where she also served with the Willing Workers, the Wallkill Woman's Club, Arethusa Sorority Alumni and the Terwilliger Family Association. She was the widow of Fred C. Terwilliger. Survivors include her son, Jay F. Terwilliger and his wife Patricia H. Terwilliger and their children Eric J. Terwilliger and Meghan M.
