James P. Callaghan, of Lake Ariel, Pa., a former resident of Rockland County, and a Senior Vice President and partner of M&H Food Broker in White Plains, N.Y., died Friday February 25, 2005, at Nyack Hospital, Nyack, N.Y. He was 71. The son of James Callaghan and Bridget Heafy Callaghan, he was born July 9, 1933 in Kearny, N.J. He was married to Jacquelyn Murphy Callaghan. He was a member of St. Thomas Moore R.C. Church, Pa. Mr. Callaghan was an Army Veteran and Senior Vice President of H.C. Boerner Food Broker, Long Island, N.Y. A family statement reads: "Devoted family man. Also an avid golfer and boater." Survivors include his wife, Jacquelyn Callaghan, at home; three sons: James Callaghan and his wife, Ursula, of Washington Township, N.J., Stephen Callaghan of Lake Ariel, Pa., and Christopher Callaghan and his wife, Patricia, of Slate Hill, N.Y.; one daughter, Jacquelyn Pulliam and her husband, David, of Slate Hill, N.Y.; two sisters: Dorothy O'Callahan of Orangeburg, N.Y. and Josephine O'Keefe of Chestnut Ridge, N.Y.; nine grandchildren: Kelly, Kristie, Kaitlyn, C.J., Sean, Dylan, Ryan, Alyson and Jack. He was predeceased by his sister, Trudy Tedesco. Visitation will be at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen, N.Y. from 7-9 PM, Saturday February 26, 2005 and from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday, February 27. Fotopoulos, 76, of Tappan, died in Nyack Hospital on Thursday February 24, 2005. He was the beloved husband of Irene (nee Athanasatos) Fotopoulos. Harry was the devoted father of Leo Fotopoulos and his wife, Barbara, Dimitrios Fotopoulos, Dennis Kallivokas and his wife, Olga, Dion Fotopoulos, Nick Kallivokas, Stacy Fotopoulos, Vera Iocco and the late Constantine. He was the loving brother of Dimitrios Fotopoulos, Sophie Megdanis and the late Georgia. He was also survived by twelve grandchildren. Mr. Fotopoulos was born December 30, 1928 in the Bronx, N.Y. to Constantine and Constantia (nee Palaynes) Fotopoulos. He was an insurance and real estate broker. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday at 10 a.m. in SS Helen and Constantine Greek Orthodox Church in West Nyack with interment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx. "Billy" Raab Jr., a lifelong resident of Newburgh, entered into rest on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. He was 54. Son of the late William C. Raab Sr. and Marion Gibb Rabb who survives, he was born June 1, 1951 in Newburgh. Billy graduated from Newburgh Free Academy and was a truck driver for Ziek's Trucking. A family statement reads, "Billy lived life to the fullest. He loved playing his guitar and writing songs. He had the 'gift of gab.' May he rest in peace. He will be sadly missed." Ricciardi, a retired assembler for A&W Products, Port Jervis, and lifelong resident of the area, died February 24, 2005 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. She was 88. The daughter of the late Donato and Maria (Petrulla) Ricciardi, she was born May 22, 1916 in Port Jervis. She was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Matamoras, Pa. and of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society, Port Jervis. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers, Mike, John, Tony, Rocky, Joe, Carmine and three sisters, Rose, Catherine and Millie. Riddick of Otisville, N.Y., a retired employee of Lloyd's Department Store in Middletown and longtime resident of the area, died Thursday February 24, 2005, at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus, Middletown. She was 70. Elizabeth was born March 5, 1934 in Kingston, Mass., the daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Rosa Mazilli Nenna. She was the widow of Lawrence L. Riddick, who predeceased her on June 18, 1998. Surviving are two daughters, Lorraine Smith of Sparrowbush, N.Y., and Sally Ogden of Mt. Ruth Pearl Sherman of Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of Newburgh, N.Y., died Wednesday February 23, 2005, at home after a long illness. The daughter of the late Al and Rose Pearl, she was born on April 20, 1922 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Hyman; daughter, Linda Wendel, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and son, Kenneth Sherman and his wife, Sharon, of Bloomingburg, N.Y.; five grandchildren: Stacey Evans and her husband, William, Mark Sherman and his wife, Susan, Howard Sherman, Melanie Speranza and her husband, Frank, and Jennifer Daversa and her husband, Chad. She also leaves behind her two great-grandchildren, Samantha Evans and Derek Sherman; and her sisters-in-law, Maude Pearl and Zina Selman; and several nieces and nephews. Spencer, Clement Clement Spencer of New Windsor, died February 25, 2005 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. He was 86. Born on May 4, 1918 in Fort Henry, N.Y. to the late Norman and Harriet Jones Spencer, Clement was a talented musician playing in the Tri State Area and the Hudson Valley. He was a life member of the Musicians Union Local 291. Clement was a veteran of the Army serving in World War II in the South Pacific. He was a retired supply clerk for Keller Army Hospital in West Point. Survivors include his loving daughter, Linda McCaffrey and her husband, Edward Westbrook, of Newburgh; cherished grandchildren, Kevin McCaffrey of Boston and Shannon McCaffrey and her husband, Craig Baker, of Washington D.C.; and one loving great-granddaughter, Amelia Baker. He was predeceased by his wife, Rita; and one brother, Norman.
