He was 70 years old. The son of Jobst A. and Elizabeth S. Roe Bieling, he was born July 7, 1934 in Goshen, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was married to Helga Mattmuller. She was 82. She was born March 12, 1922 in Ukraine, the daughter of the late Valadimir and the late Martha Pochyla Jaroczevich. She was married to the late Juchym "John" Charczenko, who died December 4, 2004. She was a member of the St. Volodymyr's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Glen Spey and the Ukrainian Women's Organization. Joe was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh, and a member of Club 60 in Newburgh. He was born in Cornwall, N.Y., January 22, 1929, the son of the late Frederick H. Delbaugh and Josephine R. Sears Delbaugh. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Marjorie F. Glanville Delbaugh; a daughter, Mindy Delbaugh Fowler and husband John of Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y.; a sister, Karen McCormick of Highland Falls, N.Y.; two brothers, William Delbaugh and James Delbaugh both of Colorado; one granddaughter, Molly Arlene Fowler; and several nieces and nephews. DiBitetto, Frank Frank DiBitetto, a retired elevator operator for the New York City Board of Education in Long Island City, N.Y., and 21 year area resident, died Thursday January 20, 2005, at the Orange County Residential Health Care Facility in Goshen, N.Y. He was 93. The son of the late Thomas DiBitetto and the late Grace Gramegna DiBitetto, he was born January 5, 1912 in Bari, Italy. He was the widower of Marie Petello DiBitetto. A member of St. Patrick's Church in Highland Mills and a member of the New Windsor Senior Citizens, he was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. Kelder, Leora Leora Kelder, a loving mother of Olivebridge, N.Y., died on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 80. Mrs. Kelder was born June 18, 1924 in Clintondale, N.Y., the daughter of the late Charles and Addie Ellis. Mrs. Kelder was a member of the Samsonville United Methodist Church of Olivebridge. She was active with the Women's Atwood Club, Olive Rebecca's and the Samsonville United Methodist Women's Club. Leora was one of the founding members of the Olive Rescue Squad and the Olive Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary. On August 22, 1942 Leora married Bradford V. Kelder in Olivebridge. He died in 1983. She had a battle with breast cancer for four years in which she showed unbelievable courage, character, and a very positive attitude. Cheryl was born in Newburgh, NY to Robert and Delores Sholes on October 8, 1957. She graduated from NFA High School and Mount Saint Mary's College both in Newburgh, NY. She lived in Orange County, NY until 15 years ago when she moved to Longmont with her husband Tom and daughter Tara. Cheryl worked at IBM for 22 years in Hawthorne, NY where she met her husband Tom, Sterling Forest, NY, and Boulder, CO. Cheryl had been married to Tom Martin (originally from Yonkers, NY) for the past 22 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend who loved to spend time with family and close friends She is survived by her husband Tom and two children Tara and Connor; her brother Robert Sholes & wife Vickie of Circleville, NY; 8 nieces and nephews; and 9 great nieces and nephews. McMillan, 50, of Forest Avenue passed away at her home Thursday morning, January 20, 2005 unexpectedly from a pulmonary embolism. Born July 6, 1954 in West Point, N.Y., she was the daughter of Francis and Teresa (Huot) De Lauri. Attending Newburgh Enlarged School Systems, Leah left early to work for various places, one being a home health aide for more than five years in the Monroe area, and most recently with Shop Rite food stores for over 14 years of dedicated service performing various duties. Leah was such a very positive, happy-go-lucky person who never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She never complained and was always content with whatever she had. She was a person who loved staying home. She enjoyed watching home videos, or a good movie, but also looked forward to family and friend get-togethers, and traveling up to the Glens Falls area to visit her parents. She also enjoyed playing cards, going out to eat, and religiously liked to play the New York Lotto. Leah was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Angelo and Mary (Romano) De Lauri; maternal grandparents, Allen and Elmina (Seems) Huot; and some aunts and uncles. He was employed as a clerk for Morgan Chase, NYC for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. McTiernan was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, Whiting. He was a former member of the fishing club of Whiting, the American Legion, Monroe, N.Y., the Elks of Greenwood Lake and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Melick, Kenneth "Paul" Kenneth "Paul" Melick, owner of Ken's Service Station, and lifelong resident of Montgomery, died Thursday January 20, 2005 at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus, Middletown. He was 54. The son of Frances Patrono Melick and the late Kenneth H. Melick, he was born October 24, 1950 in Bronxville, N.Y. A family statement reads: "Paul was a beloved husband and moreover a devoted father. He lived for giving to others. His selflessness was his joy. Paul will be missed by all those whose lives he touched." He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Pfleger Melick, at home; his mother, Frances Melick, of Montgomery; two daughters: Jessica Melick and Kirstyn Melick, both at home; one sister, Lynn Irto and her husband, Dominic, of Montgomery; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 22, 2005 from 2-4 PM in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Walden, N.Y., with the funeral to follow at 4:00 PM in the church. Formerly of Newburgh, N.Y. Julia M. Reyes, 74 years old, of Las Vegas, Nev. and a longtime resident of Newburgh, N.Y., passed away on January 17, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nev. The daughter of the late Jose Negron and the late Maria de la Cruz, she was born April 12, 1930 in Utuado, Puerto Rico. She is survived by her husband, Miguel A. Reyes, Sr.; three sons: Jose L. Rosado, Dalbert Rosado and Miguel A. Reyes, Jr.; one daughter, Angie Vigniero; six grandchildren: Jolyannie Rosado, Dalbert Jose Rosado, Jaclyn Reyes, Amy-Jo Rosado, Joey Rosado and Anthony Vasquez; three sisters: Ana Rosa Negron, Margarita Negron and Aurea Deiter-Negron; and one brother, Luis Negron. She was predeceased by her parents, Jose Negron and Maria de la Cruz; two sisters: Gloria Negron and Angeles Negron; one nephew, Santos Colon, Jr.; and one niece, Toyi Centeno.
