She was 89. The daughter of Camillio and Asunta Fusco, she was born May 29, 1916 in the Bronx. She was a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital and member of the Hamptonburgh Senior Citizens Club. Florence loved her bird "Baby." Survivors include her son, Ronald Cosentino and wife, Frances, of Campbell Hall; daughter, Susan Bov‚ of Campbell Hall; eight grandchildren: Victor, Ronald, David, Florence, Vincent, Mark, Lawrence and Jennifer; 11 great-grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Vito Cosentino, who died in 1974. They were married in 1940 at St. Finbars Church in Brooklyn. She was also predeceased by a brother and three sisters. Visitation will be held from 1-3 and 6-9 PM on Tuesday, July 5 at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville, N.Y. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 6 at St. Mary's Chapel in Washingtonville. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Washingtonville. Herries, of Walden, President of Charles G. Smith Assoc. Inc., died June 28, 2005 in Goshen. He was 74. The son of the late John R. Herries and Winifred North Herries, he was born September 22, 1930 in Brooklyn, N.Y. After graduating from high school in 1948, he worked for Elmer T. Hebert in NYC, then joined Charles G. Smith Assoc. in 1962 in Newburgh. He was credentialed as a Hardware Consultant in 1962. He was a former member of the Board of Directors of the Hudson Valley Construction Contractors Assoc., former member of the Board of Directors of the NY Society of Hardware Consultants and a member of the Door and Hardware Institute. He was the widower of Marilyn McAvoy Herries. Survivors include his son John P. Herries and his wife Patricia of Springfield, Va.; daughter Margaret M. Gillespie and her husband Patrick of Danville, NH; son Peter M. Herries and his wife Ellen of Walden; daughter Elizabeth G. Herries and her husband Donald Aibel of Alpine, NJ; son Edward M. Herries and his wife Tara of Bradford, Mass.; ten grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on July 7 at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY. Jennings, Harry James 1942 - 2005 Harry James Jennings, 62, of East Branch, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at home. He was born in Hackensack, N.J. on August 29, 1942, the son of Elijah and Cora (Call) Jennings. Harry married Jean Conklin on April 20, 1976 in Ramsey, N.J. Harry was a landscaper. His wife, Jean, survives along with two daughters, Amanda Marie Card of Honesdale, Pa. and Lisa Ann Jennings of Ellenville; four sisters, Adeline Conklin of Delhi, Barbara Garris of Middletown, Helen Barthel of Troopsburg and Gladys Mann of Patterson, N.J.; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the East Branch Cemetery of Tuesday, July 5 at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements were made by the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock, N.Y. The daughter of Egisto Melani and Angela Manteo Melani, she was born November 30, 1908 in New York City. She is survived by a great-niece, Gail Battista; great-nephews, Robert Battista and Philip Battista; niece, Joyce Battista; great-great-nieces, Gabrielle, Paige and Natalie and Gina; and great-great-nephew, Philip Jr. There will be no visitation. Salvaty, of 553 State Road 58 E., Bedford, Ind., died Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at 1 p.m. at his residence. He was 51. He was born October 28, 1953 in Jersey City, N.J., to Charles Salvaty and Dorothy (White) Salvaty. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Survivors include five sons, Charles Salvaty Jr. of Montgomery, Dustin Salvaty of Marion, Ind., Vito Salvaty of Bedford, Ind., Anthony Salvaty of Griffith, Ind., Armando Salvaty of Bedford, Ind.; three daughters Tammy Smith of Bedford, Ind., Renee Craig of Bedford, Ind., Sonda Salvaty of Tunnelton, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Wayne Salvaty, Danny Bartone and Charles Smith, all of New York; three sisters, Carol Forstner of New York, Dorothy Furnish of Dupont, Ind., Judy Mullen of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
