The daughter of the late John Fasano and the late Mary Caroppolli, she was born August 2, 1922 in Brooklyn, N.Y. A housewife, she was the widow of Frank Benevento. She is survived by two sons, Frank Benevento and his wife, Sandy, of California, and Michael Benevento of Milton; one daughter, Mary Smith of Milton; two brothers, John Fasano of New Windsor, and Sam Fasano of Florida; two sisters, Carmella DiPicco of Florida, and Elizabeth Tringalli of Long Island, N.Y.; one granddaughter, April Benevento of California; three grandsons: Doug Smith of Milton, Marc Benevento of Milton, and Michael P. Daughter of the late Robert and Clara Anastasia Slaney Ward, she was born September 26, 1932 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was married to the late Albert P. Cirigliano, of Newburgh, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at home. He was 83. Son of the late Salvatore and Amelia Fava Cirigliano, he was born on December 28, 1921 in New York City. He married Concetta Angrisani Cirigliano on July 5, 1947, who survives at home. They had just celebrated their 58th Wedding Anniversary. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh. John was a devoted and beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle to his family. He served his country bravely during WW II, and was honorably discharged on November 2, 1945. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Collins, Kevin Kevin Collins, a longtime area resident, died Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at his home after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was 41 years old. The son of the late Robert Martin Collins and Beverly Fern Kinney Collins of Verona, N.Y., he was born on November 21, 1963 in Verona, N.Y. Kevin received a Bachelor of Science degree from Oswego State University. Formerly of Verona, he moved to the Burlingham area 16 years ago. He served as Fire Commissioner for, and was Past President of, Bloomingburg fire Company #1. Kevin was also a lifetime member of the Verona Volunteer Fire Department. He married Carol Fuchs on September 3, 1994 in Lake View, N.Y. A family statement reads, "Kevin fought cancer the way he lived his life, courageous, determined and selfless. Kevin gave his soul to his family, friends and community. The world is a better place because of our experiences with Kevin. The daughter of the late Sylvester and Mary Malchiodi Gnocchi, she was born January 23, 1918 in Tenafly, N.J. She was the widow of John Giles Cordisco. She was an active member of the Mombasha Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary and was recently recognized for her 52 years of service to the organization which she joined on December 10, 1953. She was an active member of the Sacred Heart Leisure Club, Jolly Seniors of Monroe and Harriman Seniors and enjoyed going on many trips and outings. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and longtime member of Sacred Heart Church in Monroe. She was the widow of Norman Kelsall. Formerly of Newburgh, N.Y. Vincent J. Leo, 81, died peacefully at his home on July 5, 2005. He was born September 19, 1923 in Newburgh to the late Pasquale and Francesca Maria. Mr. Leo was a veteran of World War II, having served as an artilleryman with the U.S. Army in the Pacific. He was the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation for the City of Newburgh, and was a retired civilian employee of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish, in Newburgh, and Our Lady of the Lakes Church in Lakeport, N.H., and was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Leo was a proficient baseball and softball umpire, and basketball referee. He was an executive officer and past president of Board 180, International Athletic Association of Basketball Officials (I.A.A.B.O.); past president of the Orange County Baseball Umpires Association (O.C.B.U.A.); and a member of the following associations: the College Basketball Officials (C.B.O.A.), Amateur Softball (A.S.A.), New York State Girls Softball Umpires, and the New York State Girls Basketball Officials. He was also an inductee of the Fast Pitch Softball Hall of Fame in Newburgh. Vincent enjoyed boxing, baseball, and the horses. Vincent is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marie A. (Cassanite); his daughters, Francesca M. She was 62 years old. The daughter of Mary H. Zerrenner Matthews and the late Richard P. Quinlan, Patricia was born on July 12, 1942 in New York, N.Y. In September 17, 1966, Patricia married Tom Matthews at St. Ann's Church in Fairlawn, N.J. Following the death of her mother-in-law, Patricia raised her husband's younger brother and three sisters. In 1982, she, along with her family, moved to Slate Hill from Bellrose, N.Y., was named a "Good Neighbor" in 1995 by the Times Herald Record; was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church and a volunteer at Meals on Wheels in Middletown. Ronne of Syracuse, N.Y. and Kenneth D. Ronne of Monroe; one daughter, Carol L. Tuttle of Saugerties, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was 43. He was born to Samuel and June Soro Terwilliger on February 4, 1962 in Newburgh, N.Y. Bruce married his beloved wife, Colleen Costello, on September 22, 2001 at St. Joseph's Church in New Windsor. He loved his children, family and friends and especially the Yankees. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving family: wife Colleen; sons: Samuel David, Michael Robert and Ryan John Terwilliger, all at home; his parents, Samuel and June Terwilliger of New Windsor; one brother, Keith Terwilliger of Newburgh; one sister, Lynda Chernek and her husband, Joseph, of New Windsor.
