DiRosa, an employee of F & W Woolworth and Wingdale Psychiatric Center and St. Francis Hospital, resident of the area for 25 years, died suddenly July 19, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital. She was 59. The daughter of Ronald Sadler and Helen Spreer, she was born March 1, 1946 in Newburgh. She married Anthony "Tony" DiRosa on August 27, 1993 in Newburgh. Judith was a member of AARP Chapter in Hyde Park and had an active interest in needle point. She was very benevolent and loved to help people. Judith was nominated as Sunshine Girl for AARP. She loved her cat Bookie and had an active interest in reading. He was a finance accountant for West Point US Academy. In 1974, Mr. Drew relocated to Greensboro from Highland Falls and remained active as an Auxiliary member of the Coast Guard. Rosalie had a successful career in banking, starting out as a teller with Roundout Bank and retiring as a branch manager for Fleet Bank. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and relaxing in the sunshine. After a short break in Florida, she returned to banking at Ulster Savings Bank until she was unable to work. The daughter of the late Vincenza Cardona, she was born October 6, 1941 in Manhattan, N.Y. She married Robert F. Kelly Sr. on July 10, 1960 in Manhattan. She was a former member of the New Paltz Chamber of Commerce. Mother of the late Robert F. Kelly Jr. and grandmother of the late Ryan Christopher Decker, she leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 45 years, Robert F. Somers, Hilda Davenport Hilda Davenport Somers passed away on July 21, 2005 at Roscoe Community Nursing Home. She was born August 15, 1929 in Mayfield, N.Y., the daughter of Case and Ethel Vanderwerker Davenport. Hilda grew up on the Davenport family farm in Grooville. She attended the Livingston Manor School. Hilda was a self-made businesswoman. She owned the former Hi-Way Inn in Parksville and the former Four Corners Inn in Liberty. She fought a long and gallant battle with Multiple Sclerosis, and was a long-term member of the MS Society. She is survived by a son Randall K. Somers of Liberty; two daughters Karen L. Ottino of Liberty and Kristeen M. Murtagh of Downingtown, Pa.; four grandchildren Kara Ross, Kimberly Ottino, Ryan Murtagh and Scott Ottino; three great-grandchildren Kasey Ottino, Kayleigh and Brianna Murtagh; one brother Ernest Davenport and one sister Beverly Young, both of the state of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Somers, Hilda Davenport Hilda Davenport Somers passed away on July 21, 2005 at Roscoe Community Nursing Home. She was born August 15, 1929 in Mayfield, N.Y., the daughter of Case and Ethel Vanderwerker Davenport. Hilda grew up on the Davenport family farm in Grooville. She attended the Livingston Manor School. Hilda was a self-made businesswoman. She owned the former Hi-Way Inn in Parksville and the former Four Corners Inn in Liberty. She fought a long and gallant battle with Multiple Sclerosis, and was a long-term member of the MS Society. She is survived by a son Randall K. Somers of Liberty; two daughters Karen L. Ottino of Liberty and Kristeen M. Murtagh of Downingtown, Pa.; four grandchildren Kara Ross, Kimberly Ottino, Ryan Murtagh and Scott Ottino; three great-grandchildren Kasey Ottino, Kayleigh and Brianna Murtagh; one brother Ernest Davenport and one sister Beverly Young, both of the state of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a longtime companion Frank "Sonny" Sherwood; two brothers William and Harold Davenport; and great-grandson Sammy Mc Kay. Charles Samuel White, 78, of Bracey, died Sunday, July 17, 2005 in South Hill, Va. A native of Middletown, N.Y., he was retired from Orange County Gov't Center in Goshen, N.Y.; was a US Air Force Veteran and formerly was active in the Civil Air Patrol. He is survived by his wife Florence L. White; his mother Martha Rogers White of Beverly Hill, Fla.; three daughters, JoAnn L. Courter and husband Wygant of Bracey, Janet M. White and companion Raymond of Middletown, N.Y., Joyce W. Karsten and husband Joseph of Moncure, N.C.; one son, Charles Edson White and his wife Cheryl of Matthews, N.C.; one sister Evelyn Youngblood of Beverly Hills, Fla.; and a brother Alfred White of South Hill. Also surviving are four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Helen M. Larsen. A memorial service will be held at the Farrar Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial considerations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
