She was 67 years old. The daughter of the late Herbert J. and Catherine Enright Cleary, Judith was born September 18, 1937 in Boston, Mass. A very spiritual and gentle woman who loved to travel and loved to help others. Judy will always be remembered as a friend you could count on, whenever she was needed. Her compassion and caring for others was a way of life for her. Judy is survived by four sisters: Sister Marie Cleary of Massachusetts, Margaret Wright and her husband, Robert, of Massachusetts, Jean Hickey and her husband, Neil, of California, Joan Picariello and her husband, Sal, of Massachusetts; ten nieces and nephews; as well as her dear friend, Father Emmet Murphy. She was predeceased by one brother, John J. Cleary. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday June 3, 2005 from 7-9 PM at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown. Kantrowitz, Seymour Sholom Seymour (Sholom) Kantrowitz, a lifelong resident of Woodridge, N.Y. and the former owner and operator of Kantrowitz's Garage in Woodridge, died at home in Peoria, Ariz. He was 83. Sholom was born in Woodridge on March 28, 1922, the son of Nathan and Bertha Goldstone Kantrowitz. Sholom enlisted in the Army Air Force before WW II and served for five years, ending his service as a crew chief for a B29 group. His garages in Woodridge and Rock Hill were for decades a gathering place for family and local "schmoozers" where Sholom held forth with stories and jokes. He was a Past Master of the Fallsburg Masonic Lodge #1122, a Village Trustee of Woodridge, and a pillar of Congregation Ohave Sholom in Woodridge, N.Y. He will be greatly missed by all. He is survived his beloved wife Shirley, of 62 years at home in Peoria, and was the loving father of Barbara Antillon of Mexico City, and Cynthia Dallas of Phoenix, Arizona. Fond father-in-law of Armando and Kenneth. Cherished grandfather of Lisa, Nina, Joshua, Diana, Ian, and Matthew, and great-grandfather of Jenna, Ilan, Ryan, and Dana. "Buck" Price, of Monticello, a lifelong resident of the area, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at home surrounded by his family and friends, after an unexpected illness. He was 85 years young. The son of the late John Price & Anna Cantrell Price, he was born March 30, 1920 in Monticello. Buck was an Army Corporal Technician 5th Grade lineman tel & tel of World War II serving overseas under General Patton. He was an active member of the Bailey-Richman Post #9588 Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was a loving devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to all he knew. He is survived by his daughter: Beverly A. Scott & her husband Edward; two grandsons: Edward Scott & his wife Louise, and Jason Scott & his wife Cheryl; great-grandchildren: Heather, Amanda, Christina, Alli and Trevor, all of Monticello. He was also a special loving father to Bonnie Price Jackson & her husband James of Virginia and Bobbie Price Feller & her husband Donald of Monticello; and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Beatrice Anna Price, two sisters and five brothers. Kelly, Frances M. (Donovan) Frances M. Kelly, of Chester, a housewife and mother and a 36-year resident of the area, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at Orange Regional Medical Center at Arden Hill Campus. She was 67 years of age. The daughter of Anne Donovan and the late Daniel F. Donovan, Frances was born on July 22, 1937 in New York, N.Y. Frances was a member of St. Columba R.C. Church, former Secretary of the Chester Little League, former member of the Chester Jr.-Sr. High School Band Boosters, and Sports Fund. She was an avid fan and supporter of Chester athletics. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her husband and family. Frances is survived by her mother Anne Donovan and by her beloved husband of 45 years Thomas F. Kelly of Chester, NY; her devoted children, a son Thomas and his wife Patricia of Chester, NY; daughter Mary Brosnan and her husband John of Chester, NY; son Matthew of Chester, NY; son James and his wife Jacqueline of Eatontown, NJ; son Patrick and his wife Kerri Lynn of Middletown, NY. Frances is also survived by her adoring grandchildren Kerri Ann, John, Emily, Jillian, Marcella, Elizabeth, Madeline and James. Mains, Doris Jean Simons Doris Jean Simons Mains, a housewife and resident of Marlboro for most of her life, died June 1, 2005 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. She was 70. The daughter of the late Thomas Simons and Doris Lenor Simons, she was born August 21, 1934 in Grafton, W.Va. She was the widow of Robert A. Mains. A family statement reads, "Mom was a hard-working, loving and devoted mother and will be sadly missed by all." Survivors include her sons, Jack Simons and Jerry Simons both of the State of New York, James and Tammy Simons of Highland, Robert Mains, Gary Mains and Louis Mains all of Marlboro; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Malatesta, Americo Americo Malatesta of Smallwood, N.Y., a 16-year resident of the area, died June 2, 2005 at Catskill Regional Hospital, Harris, N.Y. He was 85. The son of Louis and Emma Malatesta, he was born on November 13, 1919 in New York City. He was a retired Marble Terrazzo Setter. Survivors include his wife, Carmelita Lupi Malatesta, at home, and his two stepsons, Silvio Ottolia and Maureice Ottolia. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 5, 2005 from 2 to 4 PM at the William M.
