She was 83. The daughter of Charles and Freda Bassani Ganci, she was born on April 26, 1922 in the Bronx. Gloria was the widow of John J. Cofsky who died in 2002 after 30 years of marriage. family statement reads, "Gloria was loved and will be missed by all." She is survived by her stepdaughter Rose Gerber with whom she resided for the past 42 years. Julie Gerber, David Gerber, Michelle, Joseph, Anthony, Christopher and Matthew Orsi, Marc Gerber, Keagan Gerber, Chrissi Gerber, Michael Aluns and Danielle Gerber will forever miss their beloved Aunt G. Gloria is also survived by a brother, John Ganci and his wife Phyllis of Ridgewood, N.J.; 3 sisters, Elsie Silvani of West Babylon, Louise Pabst of Piscataway, N.J. and Alice Ruffini of Fairlawn, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. Conner, Raymond Raymond Conner of Napanoch, a lifelong resident and a retired painter at the Nevele Hotel, died June 26, 2005 in the Kingston Hospital. He was 77. The son of Raymond and Celestia Hendrickson Conner, he was born July 29, 1927 in Accord, N.Y. He was a member of the Ellenville Elks Lodge #1971, "The Camp" Hunting Lodge; was a former volunteer fireman; and was an avid bowler and bowled on the Wednesday night bowling league in Liberty. He was a Mets fan to the extreme. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Williams Conner, whom he married January 31, 1953; four daughters: Celestia Conner of Grahamsville; Toni Karlovec and her husband, Robert, of Grahamsville; Barbara Stuart and her significant other, Tim Kortright, of Grahamsville; and Debbie Silva and her husband, Jose, of Sanford, Fla.; two sons, Raymond Conner and his wife, Colleen, of Lake Isabella, Calif., and Merrill Conner and his wife, Gwen, of Napanoch; two brothers, Robert Conner and his wife, Agnes, of Ellenville, and Louis Conner; his sister, Mabel Skeens of Accord, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Evans, Audrey M. Audrey M. Evans, who briefly danced in the chorus of the Ziegfeld Follies and then worked as a telephone service operator and longtime resident of Highland, died June 26, 2005 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 81. The daughter of Paul Daniel Lunny and Alma Caroline Schmidt, she was born October 3, 1923 in Scranton, Pa. She was married on February 4, 1946 in Pennsylvania to the late Oliver D. Evans. Survivors include her daughter, Christine E. Fay of Highland; one son, Daniel S. Evans of Deland, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Sean Fay, Liam Fay, Jesse Savago, Kelly Savago, Matthew Savago, Jennifer Banks, Jason Evans, and Nicole Evans; three great-grandchildren, Bailey and Daniel Evans and Anthony Banks. She was the daughter of Charles and Josephine Budd and was born in Otisville on January 12, 1924. She was a graduate of Nyack High School. Sarah married Karl Franck on December 3, 1943 at the Mt. Carmel Priory. She was a sewing machine operator at Lore Lingerie in Otisville for many years. Survivors include her children and their families - daughter, Karen Baker and husband Robert and their children, Charles and Lorraine Baker, Robert and Deirdre Baker and their children, Briana, Kasey Lyn and Todd Baker and Rebecca Mead; son Karlton Charles Franck and his children Bryan and Marybeth Franck, Bonnie and Jamie MacFarland and their children Jackie, Holly Ann and David Franck. Sarah was from a family of 11 children with five sisters and two brothers remaining, Rose Sweeney, Jean Roosa, Frances Mann, Joan Stratton (Milton), Marjorie Lertora, Hugh Budd (Hazel) and Robert Budd (Margaret) along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Charles and Norman; sister, Vera Budd; and brothers-in-law, Calvin Mann, Edward Sweeney and John Lertora. There will be no visitation. Kaiser, Marion Marion Kaiser of New Windsor, beloved mother and grandmother, died at home on Saturday June 25, 2005. She was 91. She was born at home, the daughter of the late Max and Mary Haring on October 16, 1913 in Woodbury, N.J. Marion was a homemaker for her late husband, Joseph Kaiser and her children until they were grown. She then went on to work as a bookkeeper at Kaiser Binding, Inc. until her retirement at age 79. She was an excellent bowler and enjoyed being with her family. Born in Goshen, N.Y. on May 23, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Stuart Leroy and Frances Helene Wright. Mrs. Manley was a member and assistant music director at Holy Cross Episcopal Church. She was an accomplished pianist and had worked at Appalachian State University for the past eleven years, accompanying various students and artists. Survivors include her children: Catherine E. Werner was a dynamic man who pursued his passion, refused to take the easy route and inspired others to follow their dreams and heart.
