Lauderdale, FL. She was 69. The daughter of Paul Affuso and Rose Marie Padrone, both deceased, she was born September 23, 1935 in Marlboro, NY. A family statement read: "Mom was so full of life, gave everything for her children and grandchildren. She was always working and very active with Apple production and sales in our Marlboro area. She was a member of Women's Council of Realtors Association. Survivors include her son, Dr. Brian and Laura Teliho of Atlanta, GA; daughters: Dianne Hults of Englewood, FL and Paula Marton of Newburgh, NY; brother, Dominick Affuso of Marlboro, NY; sister, Genevieve Cambra of Arizona; granddaughters, KellyAnne Hults and Christin Nicole Marton; grandsons, Timothy Hults II, David Paul Marton and Dylan Hults. Deller, Attorney at Law, and a life-long area resident, died Saturday, March 5, 2005 at St. Teresa's Nursing Home, Middletown, NY. She was 89. The daughter of the late Albert J. Drew and Louise Meyer Drew, she was born August 1, 1915. She was married to the late Anthony W. Deller. Mrs. Deller was a member of the Drew United Methodist Church, Port Jervis. She was a graduate of Wilson College where she earned her BA in Education. She furthered her education, graduating from Columbia University with her Masters in Biological Sciences. Guadagno, John Anthony John Anthony Guadagno of New Windsor, a laborer for Dupont Industries at West Point, died March 5, 2005 at Elant of Newburgh. He was 84. The son of Michael Guadagno and Angela Lease, he was born July 9, 1920 in Newburgh, N.Y. He was the husband of Connie M. Ricciotti. Mr. Guadagno was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post of New Windsor; Black Rock Fish and Game Club; Newburgh Hall of Fame; U.C.T.; and of the Pastime Athletic Club. A family statement reads: "He was a loving husband and brother." Survivors include his wife, Connie M. Hiller, a longtime Nyack resident, passed away on March 3, 2005. She was 91 years old. Gloria was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on August 1, 1913, the daughter of Michael and Mary Silio. She moved with her parents to Nyack where she was a member of St. Ann's R.C. Church in Nyack, N.Y. Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Alfred, in 1980; her parents and her sister, Rose Silio. The daughter of Frank and Margaret Mason Doerner, she was born February 18, 1934 in Weehawken, N.J. She was married to the late Anthony R. Mesiti. Mullen, Bridget "Dee" Bridget "Dee" Mullen of Goshen, formerly of Midland Park, N.J., entered into rest on Sunday March 6, 2005, with her family by her side, after a courageous four year battle with ALS. The daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Moore, she was born July 16, 1929 in Leitra, Galway, Ireland. Dee was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, the "perfect grandma", a great sister and best friend. She touched the lives of many with her caring, love and laughter. She will never be forgotten with her continuous smile, unconditional love and her "Thumbs Up". She was the beloved wife of 51 years to Sean Mullen, of Goshen; loving mother of John and his wife, Bonnie, of Sonoma, Calif., David and his partner, Calvin Walsh, of Accord, N.Y., Teri Nichols and her husband, Donald, of HoHoKus, and JoAnne Donovan and her husband, Christopher, of Goshen; cherished grandmother of Matthew, Shannon and Megan Mullen, Christine and Steven Nichols and CJ and Sean Donovan; caring sister of Sr. Teresa Moore, May Mullins and Vincent Moore, all of Ireland, Joseph Moore and Fred Moore, both of California, and the late Raymond Moore. Newman, Madelon Diane Thorn Madelon Diane Thorn Newman, a retired Orange County teacher, died on Saturday March 5, 2005, at her home in Middletown. She was 90 years of age. She was born in Middletown on February 13, 1915, the daughter of the late Bertha Belle Lyon Thorn and William Wesley Thorn II. A lifelong teacher, Madelon started her career after graduating from New Paltz Normal in 1937. She began teaching in the Oxford Depot Stone Schoolhouse, moved on to the Warwick Valley School District during World War II, and finished her career in the City of Middletown School District, retiring in 1972, after thirty years of service to Orange County children. Upon retirement, Madelon worked tirelessly and enthusiastically to research her family's roots in Orange County, and she served as editor of the Orange County Genealogical Society Newsletter from 1976 to 1988; as a member of the Editorial Committee from 1988 to 1991, and a Trustee of the OCGS from 1988 to 1991. She was a member of the Minisink Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a member of Queen Esther Chapter of the Eastern Star, and a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Middletown. Survivors include her husband, Theodore G. Newman, at home; two daughters, Linda B. Newman and Pamela J. Newman Shaw; one grandson, Christopher K. Shaw, all of Middletown; and several nieces and nephews. He was 76 years old. Born in Louisville, Ky. on January 7, 1929, Jim was the son of the late James W. and Elizabeth Logan Tyler, Sr. Jim was raised in Lexington, Ky. and attended the University of Kentucky and the Cincinnati College of Music. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On June 5, 1954, Jim married Eileen Slattery in Dayton, Ohio. Jim lived and worked in Manhattan for 34 years and was a self-employed music orchestrator and was a proud member of Musicians Local 802 for over 50 years. In 1987, he and his wife moved to Middletown. He is survived by his dear wife, Eileen Slattery Tyler, at home; one sister, Jessee Stokes Bailey and her husband, Jack E. Bailey; one uncle, Chester S. Logan of Cortland Manor, N.Y.; three nieces: Betty Sears, Susan Morris and Margaret Ayers, all of California; and one nephew, Jack Bailey Jr. of Wisconsin. A family statement reads: "After a successful career as an accountant in Chicago, Dad enjoyed a lengthy retirement in Port Charlotte, Fla. from 1978-2004, where he owned his own accounting firm and was on the Board of the Italian American Club. Being a Chicagoan at heart, he was a die-hard Cubs fan. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mrs. Frances T. Mangano Weissburg, at home; two sons, Mr. Phillip Weissburg of Palm Harbor, Fla. and Mr. Robert R. Weissburg and his wife, Theresa, of Highland Mills, N.Y.; and two grandchildren, Paul and Lisa. She was 69 years old. The daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude McGrady Kyles, Mary was born October 24, 1935 in Southfields, New York.
