The daughter of the late Antonio and Marta Ventessimo Fusco, she was born May 16, 1908 in Winterton, N.Y. She was an employee of the former Larkin's Luncheonette in Middletown and most recently a cook for the Otisville Training School for Boys. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Middletown; C.S.E.A.; Town of Wallkill Happy Seniors; Mulberry House in Middletown; and Woodmen of the World. Surviving are her daughter, Patricia A. Judge, Michael F. X. Michael F. X. Judge, of Ellenville and Sarasota, Fla., and a retired Battalion Chief for the New York City Fire Dept., died March 5, 2005 at his home in Sarasota, Fla. He was 70. The son of Michael and Margaret Banks Judge, he was born April 14, 1934 in New York City. He was a member of the Fire Officers Association. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1952 to 1955. Survivors include his wife, Jean White Judge; his son, Christopher Judge; his daughters Doreen Judge Gleason, Regina Judge Goewey, Maura Stewart; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Krusa, a homemaker and a resident of Liberty for over 75 years, passed away on Monday March 7, 2005 at the Achieve Rehab & Nursing Facility in Liberty. She was 101. She was the daughter of John Henry Hinze and May M. Kline and was born on April 29, 1903 in Jersey City, N.J. She resided at the Achieve Rehab & Nursing Facility for 9 years prior to her death. Florence was predeceased by her parents Mary Hinze-Carlson and John H. Hinze as well as a younger brother John H. Hinze and his wife Estelle and their daughter Aileen (Hinze) Holland and her son John J. Holland. Mary Heinz was remarried to Bill Carlson. Frank Carlson, now deceased, became her half-brother. She was also predeceased by the Krusa children; Paul Krusa, Ruth VanEtten and Elsa Hetterling. Upon her marriage to Rev. Henry B. Krusa, then pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Liberty, Florence proceeded to manage the Krusa family and also followed a rigorous schedule related to her church. She was also active in the Community Garden Club of Liberty and was active in other community affairs. Survivors include her stepson, Dr. Hans Krusa of North Carolina; a nephew, John Holland of Pine Beach, N.J.; great-nieces and nephews, Mark Holland and his wife Cathy of Salisbury, MD, Paul Holland and his wife Rose of N. Larsen, formerly of the Bronx, N.Y. and Lindenhurst, L.I., died peacefully in his sleep early Sunday, March 5, 2005 at Kingston Hospital. The son of the late Jewel and Bertha Lois, he was born February 17, 1924 in Algona, Iowa. He spent his youth on the farm that his grandfather homestead with his four siblings, Don - married to Lois of Iowa, Verle (deceased) - married to Wanda of California, Marlin - married to Irene (deceased) of California and his youngest sister Ruth of Iowa. He is a veteran of the Second World War. He served on a number of ships including the Thomas W. Bickett, the Mormacport, the Zoella Lykes, and the Czechoslovakia Victory, as a Fireman and engineer for the US Merchant Marines Coast Guard. Soon after his Honorable discharge, Eugene was married to his beloved wife Lillian and settled in the Bronx where they raised their three children, daughter Barbara Larsen-Holtz - husband Bob (deceased) of South Fallsburg, son Kenneth Larsen - wife Barbra of South Fallsburg, and daughter Susan Acquafredda - husband Thomas of the Bronx. Eugene worked at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx as boiler-room fireman and City College as Chief Engineer. He was also a member of Aviation Volunteer #3 Fire House in Harding Park of the Bronx and a member of the Point Yacht Club. He and Lillian moved to Ellenville after his retirement. He is survived by his six grandchildren Leslie Fishman - husband Vesel Gjeka of South Fallsburg, Darlene Larsen - husband Jason Schultze of Rockvelle Centre, Lisa Macri - husband Anthony of the Bronx, Susann Larsen of South Fallsburg, Nicole Acquafredda of the Bronx and Blair Larsen-Holtz of South Fallsburg; and his great grandson Arion Gjeka of South Fallsburg. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Eugene was a dedicated companion animal lover and will be missed by his best friend Astrid, his dog. Lucido, a longtime area resident, died Monday March 7, 2005 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Arden Hill Campus, Goshen. He was 85 years old. One of ten children, he was born on June 10, 1919 in Yonkers to Salvatore and Rose Ruffino Lucido. He proudly served his country during WW II in the United States Navy. John was employed by the City of Yonkers as a housing manager. He is survived by one son, Jon S. Lucido and his wife, Sharon DeLaney of Middletown; three Grandchildren, Jon D. Lucido and his wife, April of Bloomingburg, Paul J. The son of Stephen and Anna Grabowski Semo, he was born on July 13, 1920 in Barnesboro, Pa. John was a retired maintenance man at the Raleigh Hotel in South Fallsburg. He was a member of St. Peter's Church in Liberty and was a World War 2 Army Air Force Veteran. He served his country from 1942 to 1946 achieving the rank of Technical Sergeant with the Military Police. Survivors include 2 sons, John "Jack" Semo of Liberty and Stephen Semo and his wife Kim of Chandler AZ; 2 daughters, Katherine McCombs and her husband George of Cragsmoor and Donna DiBartolo of Liberty; a brother, Steven Semo and his wife Sue of Cleveland OH; 5 sisters, Mary Kudlawiec of St. Benedict, Pa., Frances Semo of Barnesboro, Pa.; Sylvia Guitar and her husband Bill of Warren, MI, Jean Szczurek and her husband John of Ft. Born on January 8, 1939 in Warwick, he was the son of Lee A. and Ruth Haight Shaw. He was married to Barbara Peet. Mr. Shaw was the former owner of Foley's Auto Body in Warwick and the past owner of Foley's Mobil Mart in Warwick. A lifelong resident of Warwick, Lee was a school and sports contributor. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved nature. He was a member of Monroe-Chester Sportsmans Club. He enjoyed traveling and was a member of the "300 Club". He also enjoyed bowling at Frontier Lanes and Middletown Lanes. Tole, a former secretary for the Guardian Life Insurance Co. in Manhattan, died March 2, 2005 at the Westchester Medical Center. She was 67. The daughter of the late John R. and Christine Boozer Aikens, she was born in Far Rockaway, on September 3, 1936, the second of three children. She received her Christian training at an early age at the Bethel A.M.E. Church in Far Rockaway and after relocating to Monticello, became a member of the Bethelion Temple in Cochecton. She married her husband, Bendriis Torie Tole, on November 5, 1950. Marion used her wisdom and knowledge in the nurturing of her family and all those whose lives she touched. She believed that love and respect for each other was important for family unity.
