She was 87. The daughter of William DeBrot and Elizabeth Romaine DeBrot, she was born March 3, 1918 in Franklin Township, N.J. Mrs. Bagley was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution. She was the widow of Chester A. Bagley, Jr., who preceded her in death on March 3, 1994. She is survived by her two sons, Chester R. Bagley and his wife, Linda, of Middletown, and George A. Bagley of the Town of Minisink; one daughter, Betty Ann Dykhouse and her husband, Harold, of Midland Park, N.J.; three granddaughters: Virginia, Susan and Amie; and one niece. Bosland, Barry William Barry William Bosland, 65 years old, of Vernon Township, formerly of Parsippany and Prospect Park, N.J., died at St. Anthony's Hospital, Warwick, N.Y., after a short illness, on Tuesday March 8, 2005. Born to Arie and Bertha Bosland in Paterson, N.J., he lived in Prospect Park, N.J., then Parsippany, N.J. for three years before moving to Vernon Township, N.J., 35 years ago. Mr. Bosland served with the United States Air Force during peacetime and received his B.A. in Vocational Education from Montclair State College, as well as receiving his M.A. in Vocational Education from Montclair State College. He worked as an Industrial Arts Teacher at Brooklawn Junior High School in Parsippany for 34 years before retiring in 2000. He was a member, elder and deacon at the Grace Evangelical Free Church in Milton, N.J., and served with the church choir and the Boy's Brigade. He was also a member of the Sparta Evangelical Free Church. He was a member of the New Jersey Education Association. Mr. Bosland was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Survivors include his beloved wife, Helen C. (nee Garrabrant) Bosland, at home; devoted son, Keith D. Bosland, of Springfield, Ohio, and daughter, Kirstyn B. He was 94. The son of Charles Jerome Boyd and Marie Brenner Boyd, he was born October 2, 1910 in East Orange, N.J. He was a member of The Church of the Good Shepard in Bergenfield, N.J. and Masonic Lodge #173 F&AM in Westwood, N.J. He was the widower of Helene Leberecht Boyd. Survivors include his son, Robert E. He was 90. Born in Manhattan, N.Y. on March 13, 1914, he was the son of Frank and Ellen Mearns Casey. He was the widower of Mary LaBier Casey. He retired from Advertising and Circulation Department at the New York Daily News. Previous to that he retired as a switchman for the New York Transit Authority. He was a member of Mulberry House Seniors and Volunteered for St. Paul's Senior Nutrition Center, Middletown. He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II. He is survived by his daughter Kathleen Casey and her fianc‚ Willard Hall of Walden, and Laura Mills and her husband Robert of Middletown. His son John Casey and his wife Judy of Manhattan; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Danforth, of Matamoras, Pa., owner of Danforth Contracting and 18-year resident of the area, died Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Ocala Hospital, Ocala, Fla. of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 42. He was born December 25, 1962 in Portales, NM, the son of Gerald and Diana Caywood Danforth. A great husband and a loving father, Kurtis had so many friends as he touched lives of those he met from two to ninety-two. Kurtis never met a stranger. Surviving are wife: Karen M. Edna Linda DePoalo, of Hudson, Fla. and Brasher Falls, N.Y., formerly of Greenville, N.Y., died suddenly on Monday, March 7, 2005 at Regional Med. Ctr., Bayonet Pt., Hudson, Fla. Daughter of the late Julius and the late Julia Bernier Vidal, she was born August 24, 1932. She married her childhood sweetheart, Daniel Edward DePoalo, on May 23rd 1949, and raised a family of five children. She worked as a Correction Officer for Matawan Correctional Facility in Beacon, N.Y., and as a Therapy Aide for Mid Hudson Psychiatric Ctr., New Hampton, N.Y., from which she retired in 1984. A family statement read: "Cherished by family and friends for her endless love and devotion, Linda's life was a testament to hope, forgiveness and all the good the world has to offer. She saw wonder in the smallest of things, was grateful for each and every one of her days, and lived her life to the fullest with dignity, style, and compassion. Finkelstein, Florence Florence Finkelstein of Goshen and formerly of Ocala, Fla., died Saturday March 5, 2005 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Arden Hill Campus in Goshen, N.Y. She was 92. The daughter of Joseph Siegel and Anna Forman Siegel, she was born May 31, 1912 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She was the widow of Allen Finkelstein. Florence was a realtor along with her husband at the Allen Finkelstein Agency in Airmont, N.Y. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She took great joy in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and will be sadly missed by all. While at Elant Adult Home, she was president of the Resident Council, founded the Yiddish Club, often led the Sabbath Services and ran the weekly Bingo game. She was an avid reader and took pride in doing the New York Times puzzle in ink. Through her long and productive life, she was very active in many organizations. She was president of the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Shalom in Brooklyn; president of the Women's Auxiliary of the Jewish War Veterans in Spring Valley, N.Y.; and later the president of Temple B'nai Darom in Ocala, Fla.; president of the Condo Association in Silver Spring Shores, Fla.; and in her eighties, she was a weekly volunteer at the Ocala Regional Hospital in Florida. Survivors include her son, Michael Finkelstein and his wife, Helen, of Silverton, Ore.; two daughters, Judith DeBiase of Wesley Hills, N.Y. and Meryl Davis and her husband, James, of Montgomery, N.Y.; seven grandchildren: Josh Scheinberg, Rachel Devine, Johanna DeBiase, Dana Citron, Adam Hilburgh, Alayna Davis, and Eli Finkelstein; five great-grandchildren: Jacob and Lillian Devine, Anna and Sarah Hilburgh and Avraham Scheinberg; and several nieces and nephews. The son of the late Daniel and Anne Riley Lake, he was born on December 28, 1921, in New York City. Mr. Lake was a veteran, serving in the Marines during World War II. Mr. Lake was a member of the Steam Fitters Union, Local 638. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Lake; his children: Francis Lake, Edward Lake and John Lake and his wife, Debbie; his grandsons: James, Christopher, Brian, Mathew, Ian, and Alexander; his great-grandchildren: Kelly, Meghan, James and Daniel; his brother, Jimo Lake; his sister, Eleanor Dillon; as well as many nieces and nephews. Morton, Charlotte "Lou" Charlotte "Lou" Morton, of Pine Bush, formerly of Woodbourne, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at Orange Regional Medical Center, after fighting a long hard battle with a pulmonary disease. She was 75. The daughter of the late Francis and Rose Allen Goodchild, she was born on July 31, 1929 in Chateaugay, N.Y. Charlotte was a member of the Holy Trinity Church of Poughkeepsie; Immaculate Conception Church of Woodbourne; and the Clarence Hoyte Post VFW in Liberty. Family Statement: "Charlotte who was better known as "Lou," or "Lucille" was very devoted to her family and was always looking out for everybody else." She married John H. Morton on April 24, 1956 in Woodridge, N.Y. After their marriage she and John lived in Hasbrouck most of their married life. John was a Union Carpenter and passed away on February 13, 1975. After her husband's passing "Lou" went back to school and attended Sullivan County Community College to become a Medical Lab Assistant, where she received an award for most progress in the program and graduated in 1976. She later attended Dutchess County College for Nursing, where she remained on the Dean's list until she graduated in 1982 and became a Registered Nurse from which she retired in July 1992. Lou leaves behind, four daughters, Veronica Evans, and her husband Michael of Bradley; Donna Kortright and her husband, Butch of Parksville; Tonya Moore and her husband Troy of Ft. Benning, Ga.; and Gayle Montanya of Pine Bush; one son, Dale Morton and his wife Lauretta of Woodbourne; three sisters, Janet Miller of Massena; Joy Wake of Syracuse; Joyce Wake of Sidney; two brothers-in-law, Richard Manning of Chateaugay; Donald Morton, and his wife Marge of Pine Bush; 25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John, one son, Eugene Morton; one brother, Buddy Goodchild and one sister, Ellen Manning. The daughter of the late Donald and Edith Nicholas Wright, she was born August 30, 1916 in Rochester, N.Y., and was the widow of the late Kenneth M. Nelson. She was a member of the Cornwall Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jane Ziegler and her husband, Jay, of Cornwall-On-Hudson; a son, Kenneth M. Sutherland, Roma Soracco Roma Soracco Sutherland, a lifetime Liberty resident, passed away on Tuesday March 8, 2005, at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty. She was 87. The daughter of the late John and Albina Bajino Soracco, she was born February 18, 1918 in Liberty, N.Y. Roma attended New York University and later graduated from Lowell Business College in Binghamton. She worked as a secretary for Judge Lawrence Cooke. She was also a kindergarten teacher at St. Peter's School in Liberty and was a bookkeeper for Crawford Overhead Doors in Liberty. She was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Liberty; Court Mary Anthony Catholic Daughters and St. Paul's Senior Citizens. A family statement reads: "She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be missed by us all." Survivors include her four children: Margaret "Peggy" Morgans and her husband, Lynn, of Liberty, William F.
