Mary was the daughter of the late Louis and Catherine (Bereza) Wolanski, born in Nyack on May 14, 1929. Mary was an outstanding bowler and a member of the WIBC. She was secretary for ICWU 143, retiring from Lederle Laboratories in Pearl River, N.Y. after 50 years of dedicated service. Mary and all of her family participated for many years with the Shamrock Drum and Bugle Corp. She came to be known as "Mom" to all the children in the band. In recent years, one of her greatest pleasures was to play Bingo every Saturday night. Mary was an avid reader and donated her books to many organizations, including doctor's offices and libraries. Mary is survived by two sons, James Babcock, Jr. and his wife, Kathee, of Greenwood Lake, and Gary Babcock and his wife, Susan, of Goshen; two daughters, Gina Babcock and her husband, Butch, of Goshen and Holly Franchino and her husband, Robert, Sr., of Stony Point; eight grandchildren: Sheri Teghtmeyer Varkey and her husband, Bijo, of Long Island, N.Y., Charles Babcock of Goshen, Robert, Jr., Heather and Vincent Franchino of Stony Point, Brittany and David Babcock of Goshen and Jesse Babcock of Greenwood Lake; three great-granddaughters: Jessica, Jaymi and Jeni Varkey of Long Island, N.Y.; and her loving companion, "Scooternut". Mary was predeceased by her husband, James Babcock, Sr., and her loving brother, Michael Wolanski. Visitation will be today from 7-9 PM and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Higgins Funeral Home, 73 N. Liberty Dr., Stony Point, N.Y., with a service on Sunday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Cremation will be private. Coltelluccio, James Formerly of Staten Island James Coltelluccio, an auto body repairman with Monroe Ford in Monroe, died on Tuesday March 8, 2005, at home in Rock Hill. He was 37. James was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on September 18, 1967, the son of Patricia Gregorio and the late Emanuel Vincent Coltelluccio. He was a volunteer with the Rock Hill Fire Department and a member of the Moose Lodge in Wurtsboro. He is survived by his mother, Patricia of Rock Hill; his three sisters and brother; Christine Fair and her husband, Robert, of Monticello, Stephanie Gaglia and her husband, Gino, of Highland Mills, Emanuel Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Lake Ronkonkoma, and Dawn Kosic and her husband, Lami, of Staten Island; and his nieces and nephews: Manny III, Matthew, Amir, Anthony, Joseph, Kayla, and Sophia. He was predeceased by his father, Emanuel Vincent Coltelluccio. He will be sadly missed by all of his friends at Dutch's Tavern in Rock Hill. Hansen, Kenneth O. Kenneth O. Hansen, a retired safety engineer for Peerless Insurance Co., died Wednesday March 9,2005, at home. He was 77 years old. A son of Eugenia and Elith Hansen, he was born August 23,1927 in Jamaica, N.Y. Ken was always involved in community organizations starting with the Civil Air Patrol and Boy Scouts in the 1940s and ending with the Monticello Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and the Ski Patrol at Holiday Mountain. In between he served on the council and sang in the choir at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Jamaica; was president of the Sperry Ski Club; a Scout Master in Keene, N.H.; and on the Ski Patrol at Hogback Mountain in Vermont. He is survived by his wife, Babette, at home; his daughter, Karen, and grandson, Tyler of New Jersey; and his son, David, and daughter-in-law, Cynthia of San Jose, Calif. Norris, a former disc jockey with W.I.T.Y. in Danville, Ill., died March 9, 2005 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Bronx. He was 60. The son of the late Raymond Norris and Margaret Lare Norris, he was born May 12, 1944 in Swan Lake. While a disc jockey in Illinois, Jim had a show called The Housewife Hall of Fame, and a daily program that had a country music format. Jim was a veteran of the US Air Force where he was a K-9 trainer of dogs being sent into action in Vietnam. Survivors include his mother, Margaret Lare Norris Peters of Briscoe; his sisters, Janet Deppa and Nancy Cavanagh of Briscoe; two daughters, Darlene Squires of Oswego, Debra Lewis of Swan Lake; one granddaughter, Amanda Lewis; his nieces and nephews, Ronald and Peter Deppa of Briscoe, Kelli Cavanagh of Smithtown, Michael Cavanagh of Franklin Square and Jennifer Cavanagh of Wappingers Falls. (McMinn) Mrs. Roberts was born 1926 in Butler, N.J., the daughter of Thomas and Agnes McMinn. She was predeceased by her husband, Franklyn. An active member of St. Anthony's of Padua Church, Butler, N.J., and its Rosary Altar Society, she joined St. Anthony's Columbiettes, Butler, N.J. in April of 1960. She served the organization at all levels, from president of the local auxiliary, then rising to the directorship of the Supreme Council. She was the N.J. State Council Columbiette President from 1982-1984. Mrs. Roberts resided in West Milford, N.J. She died Wednesday March 9, 2005 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains, N.J., after a short illness. She was 79 years old. Mrs. Roberts is survived by her brothers, Robert of Wayne, N.J., and Gerald of Pompton Lakes, N.J.; her children: Frederick and his wife, Isabel, of Sandyston, N.J., Thomas, at home, James and his wife, Donalyn, of Cranston, R.I., Donald and his wife, Kathleen, of Washingtonville, N.Y., William and his wife, Lisa, of Butler, N.J., and John and his wife, Ingrid, of Vernon, N.J., and her daughter, Lynn Luehrs, of Astoria, N.Y. Published in the Times Herald-Record on 3/11/2005. Santiago Jr., Carlos Manuel Carlos Manuel Santiago, Jr. passed away at his home on February 21, 2005. He was 52. Born in Ellenville on March 11, 1952, today being his birthday, he was the son of Carlos M. Santiago, Sr. and Monserate Quinones Santiago. He lived in Puerto Rico then returned to live in Kerhonkson, N.Y. Everyone who knew him felt lucky to have him back. He is survived by a son, Carlos; a daughter Christine; two brothers, Mike and Orlando Louis; eight sisters: Margarita Ramos, Judy and Maria Andujar, Jolanda Pagan, Rosemarie Santiago, Shirly Einhorn, Trudy Sainsbury, and Teresa Santiago; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was a stone mason, multi-skilled working in construction and building, as well as extraordinary tile work and painting. He was a music lover, his guitar being his "heart & soul". He had a charismatic personality, with an abilty to improve any situation. An avid sports fan, extraordinary cook and lover of nature, his sudden passing leaves a huge void for those who loved him. Tooker Sr., 84, of the Panora Nursing and Rehab Center in Panora, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at the home. A memorial service is planned for July in Babylon, N.Y. His cremains will be buried with his wife, at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, N.Y. Larry Tooker was born March 30, 1920 in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Alexander Wishart Tooker and Josephine (Miller) Tooker. He married Mabel Dawes on December 26, 1941 in Marlboro, N.Y. He was a 1938 graduate of Babylon High School, Babylon, N.Y. a 1942 graduate of the University of Dubuque, Dubuque, Iowa, and received his master's degree from Columbia University, New York, N.Y. Larry served in the Army Air Corps following his graduation from the University of Dubuque. For most of WW II, he was responsible for physical rehabilitation of injured pilots and prisoners of war at the Army Air Base in Plattsburgh, N.Y. As a public school educator, Larry taught high school biology and health, and coached basketball in Montgomery, N.Y. He was a teaching principal in Bloomingburg, N.Y. and an elementary and junior high principal in West Babylon, N.Y. Larry was ordained a ruling elder at the First Presbyterian Church, Babylon, N.Y. Survivors include his one son, Lawrence S. (Nancy) Tooker Jr. of Sterling, Ill.; one daughter, Barbara (Roger) Tooker Todd of Hartford, Va.; four grandchildren, Wendy Marckx, Allen Todd, Quinn Tooker and Megan Tooker; two great-grandsons, Bret August Marckx and Zachary Roger Marckx; one brother, Theodore Tooker, of Grants Pass, Oreg.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. The family is accepting donations to the University of Dubuque or to the Fire Island Lighthouse Preservation Association, in memory of Larry and Mabel Tooker. Trestyn, Abel Seasonal resident of Sullivan County Mr. Abel Trestyn, 78, a longtime seasonal resident of Sullivan County, passed from this world on March 9, 2005, in Hollywood, Fla. He was born December 28, 1926 near Monterey, Mexico. Mr. Trestyn won the Gold Medal for the 800 Meter swim in the 1943 Pam American Games. He enjoyed the serenity of the mountains and a simple walk to town. Family was most important to him. He is survived by his wife, Judith Trestyn, at home; his children and stepchildren: David, Valerie, Stefan, Susan and Murray; their spouses; five sisters and their families; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and associates.
