Formerly of Ellenville, N.Y. Harry K. Bullock, born May 1, 1951 to Richard H. and Florence (MacEntee) Bullock in Ellenville, passed away unexpectedly at his Colorado home on February 28, 2005 at the age of 53. Mr. Bullock graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Plattsburgh. He has been employed by Home Depot Co. in Kingston, N.Y. and Arvada, Colo. Survivors include his son, Ryan K. Bullock of Arvada, Colo.; his brother, Richard J. and sister-in-law, Joyce Bullock of Napanoch, N.Y.; his sister, Linda Stedner and her husband, Herbert, of Napanoch, N.Y.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Bullock was cremated in Englewood, Colorado. A memorial service will be held at the Kimblehose Firehouse in Ellenville, N.Y. on Saturday April 2, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Dionne, Sister Marie Jeanne Sister Marie Jeanne Dionne, OP (Sister Antoninus Dionne, OP) of Newburgh, N.Y., died Wednesday, March 23, 2005 in Siena Hall, the infirmary of the Dominican Sisters of Hope. The daughter of Tancrede and Marie Jeanne Grenier Dionne, she was born in Providence, R.I. in 1910. She entered the Dominican Sisters of Newburgh on September 8, 1931 and made her Final Profession August 21, 1939. Sister received both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in French from Villanova University, Villanova, Pa. She also received the Certificate in Religion from the School of Theology at Providence College, Providence, R.I. Her ministries included elementary school teaching in the following New York schools: Saint Thomas, Pleasantville, St. Augustine Academy, Larchmont, Sacred Heart and Bishop Dunn, Newburgh and in New Jersey: St. Mary in Paterson and St. Mary in Gloucester. For several years, she was the librarian in St. Mary, Gloucester. Sister was the French teacher in the following high schools: Our Lady of Lourdes, Poughkeepsie, Immaculate, Danbury, CT and Gloucester Catholic, Gloucester. She retired in 1989 and came to reside in Newburgh. Sister is survived by two brothers, Arthur and Marcel Dionne and three sisters, Germaine Dufresne, Gabrielle DiCicco and Sister Mary Janice Dionne, OP and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and four brothers Herve, Henry, Raymond, Clinton and one sister, Alice Tremblay. Visitation will be held Saturday morning March 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Dominican Sisters of Hope Convent Chapel, 320 Powell Avenue, Newburgh followed by the Wake Service. Eagan, Bridget Coughlan Bridget Coughlan Eagan, a retired bookkeeper and resident of Riverdale, N.Y., died Monday March 21, 2005 at Sullivan County Adult Care Center. She was 72. The daughter of the late John and Francis Hanrahan Coughlan, she was born May 9, 1932 in Kilmihil, Ireland. She was married to the late Thomas J. Eagan. Survivors include her companion of over 20 years, Robert Trick; three children: Theresa Waverla and her husband, Glenn, of Barryville, N.Y., Thomas Eagan and his wife, Bernedette, of Mahopac, N.Y., and James Eagan and his wife, Leslie, of San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren: Susan Whalan and her husband, Frank, Thomas Conklin, Jeffrey Eagan, Tara Eagan, Kaitie Eagan and Thomas Eagan; one great-grandchild, Colin Whalan; six siblings: Thomas Coughlan, Frances Harman, Peggy Dillion, Nancy Leahy, Elizabeth Looney and John Coughlan; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was born October 1, 1919 in Yonkers, N.Y., the son of the late Paul and the late Anna Wasek Fila. Theodore was a Blast Furnace Operator for Ward & Leonard in Mount Vernon, N.Y. He was a member of St. Anthony's Church Of Padua, Yulan, N.Y. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Julia Sullivan Fila at home; son: Paul Fila of Wayne, N.J.; 8 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; also several nieces and nephews. Hagadorn, Raymond E. Formerly of Middletown, N.Y. Raymond E. Hagadorn, 77, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., died Saturday March 19, 2005 at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital in Bay Pines, Fla. He was born in Salamanca, N.Y. and moved to Lehigh Acres in 2004 from Middletown, N.Y. He was a teamster #391 in New Jersey. Raymond was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Goshen; a veteran of the U.S. Army; member of B.P.O.E. #97 of the Elks; and VFW of Lehigh Acres. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann E. Formerly of Newburgh, N.Y. Bette G. Hanmore, formerly of the Newburgh area, passed away March 5, 2005 at the Life Care Center of Jefferson City, in Jefferson City, Tenn. The daughter of Otis V. Guilfoil and Elizabeth Martin Guilfoil, she was born December 10, 1925 in Newburgh, N.Y. She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Louis F. Hanmore, of Newburgh. Together, Louis and Bette owned and operated Hoffman's Stationery on Liberty Street in Newburgh, and Hanmore's Cards-N-Candy, located in the Mid-Valley Mall, which was one of the first Hallmark stores in the area. Bette was active in several civic groups, including Junior League of Newburgh; St. Luke's Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and Opti-Mrs. She was also a member of the Powelton Club. Bette was a 1947 graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga, N.Y., where she majored in Sociology. Bette relocated to Laguna Hills, Calif. in 1984. In 1993, she married Jerome Kastel and they remained there until his death in July 2000. Most recently, she resided in Life Care Center of Jefferson City, following a move to Tennessee in 2000. She is survived by her son, Louis F. (Rick) Hanmore III, and his wife, Mary, of Newburgh; her daughter, Lisa E. Carberry and her husband, John, of Jefferson City, Tenn.; and three grandchildren: Matthew, Andrew, and Jennifer Carberry. Herschowsky, Julius Julius Herschowsky, former owner of Hershey Tool Company, and 80-plus year area resident, died Monday, March 21, 2005 at Hospice By The Sea, in Boca Raton, Florida, of natural causes. He was 86. The son of the late Samuel Herschowsky and the late Tillie Herschowsky, he was born August 16, 1918 in New York, New York. He was married to the late Sylvia Herschowsky, who passed away on December 2, 2001, and was predeceased by his brother, Irving Hershey. Mr. Herschowsky was the last living charter member of the Accord Fire Company and was also a charter member of the Kerhonkson-Accord First Aid Squad. He was involved in various fire/police fund raising and civic community activities throughout the years and was also a constable. A pillar of the community, he resided in Florida but summered in his home in Kerhonkson, New York until July 2002. Richard A. Nelson, a longtime area resident and an Instructor at Sullivan County BOCES in Liberty, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday March 17, 2005 at his residence in Liberty. He was 60 years of age. The son of the late Edgar S. and Elizabeth Locke Martin Nelson, he was born on August 20, 1944 in Evanston, IL. Rick is survived by 2 special friends, Guy and Shelly Gildersleeve of Liberty; a brother, Robert Locke Nelson and his wife Barbara, of Pelham Manor, NY; 2 sisters, Susan Heithaus and her husband Lewis of Tequesta, FL and Terry Brown Woods of Reno, NV; 2 nephews, Christopher Nelson and Samuel Woods; a niece, Annie Woods; and 1 uncle Ralph Martin of Tucson AZ.
